My wish family got their dates! November 3-9. Availability opened up at GKTW so they even get to stay there! They wanted to do Chef Mickey's unfortunately we were not able to get a reservation there, but I did get them a Tusker House Reservation.

This is my first Disney wish start to finish. (I came in on one where a wish granter had not been able to continue and the wish and dates were already determined.)

I want to make them a cute something to count down. The boy is 2.5 so I am thinking a chain instead of a calendar. Those who have gone on wish trips, was there anything your granters did to build excitement that you liked?

make sure your family has a copy of the list of activities at GKTW. have them plan the ones that they want to do besides the parks, plus have them have plenty of extra room or an extra suitcase to bring everything they get home.

We will be giving them their itinerary and it will have a list of all the activities at Give Kids. I will mention to them about the suitcase. Great tip!

I am so excited to hear your Wish Family got dates! I hope to hear from our Wish Granters soon!

To help build excitement, what about a small trinket in the mail every few days? Maybe a lanyard and then send a couple pins a week?
