We have a prive tag on the galactic starcruiser...

In other news, Florida Theme Park builds hotel exclusivley for Elon Musk And Jeff Bezos. When reached for comment, Disney CEO Bob Chapek said "Excellent" and shot lightning from his fingertips.

I was willing to go up to $1200 per person (total, with tax), not per person, PER NIGHT.

Yikes. Nope. I will sit in my DVC villa and take a bus to DHS 😲

I'm kind of hoping that this initial pricing is a blogger tax. After the rush of people who 'must' be the first to do it, maybe the demand will down and the price will become sane (well, less insane). If so, bravo Disney.
Bottom line is, if people pay these prices, Disney priced it accurately. I'm hoping they didn't price accurately.

So I looked at the sample itinerary and I'm very not impressed. I get that turnover day means not boarding until 1PM at the earliest as this is 'like a cruise.' But on the second day (which is the only full day) they have you going to Batuu for the entire morning. That wouldn't be so bad, but it's pretty much just a regular park day with one "story moment" that is 20 minutes long. Sure you get on Rise of the Resistance, but there is no indication that it is any different than regular Rise of the Resistance, and I'm not sure it could realistically be different. Plus, you are clearly in Batuu during early hours but also regular park hours. With the inflated price, I don't know if I would want to do regular park stuff. I'd only be interested in a trip to Batuu for things that don't happen during regular park hours.

Note that the pricing provided is for 8/20/2022-9/17/2022, which is pretty close to the Value2 date range for GrandFlo (which is approx $757/night during that range), the 2nd cheapest available. It does include the "excursion" to Batuu (including lunch and both rides and approximately 4.5 hours in the park).

Yeah, they're not changing the ride for hotel guests!! 😄

You get a half-day on Batuu, including both rides, a "story" element and free lunch. And then it's back to the starcruiser. It's not a regular park day at all.

$4809 for 2 people
$5299 for 3
$5999 for 4

they have larger rooms up to 8 but I don't see the price for those..

note these are "sample" prices based on number of people and room type. Also, I don't know if that includes tax, which I beleive is about 12.5% for Disney resort rooms typically.

As one person, I am hoping I can do it for under 3000 for the 2 nights.
Don't know how they would do the pricing for one person. I think I would like to do it.

My biggest thing with the price tag is every blogger/influencer out there will spoil every thing this experience has to offer that alone isn’t worth the price tag to have all the cool surprises ruined ahead of time . I know you can avoid spoilers but I think it be somewhat difficult to do that too

Has anyone seen anything about when people might actually be able to book this?

Given this is a 2 night more “intimate” Star Wars experience that is about the same cost as a plaid coated VIP day in the park I’m guessing there will be plenty of demand for it at those prices.

Wow - I guess I'm not shocked? But maybe I am a little? I don't know.
I definitely won't be one of the first people trying this out, that's for sure.

And as it is, my husband refuses to get up early on vacation, so if a morning program is included, he wouldn't do it anyway.

No thanks.

Unfortunately, I was told that 1 person will have to pay the full Room Rate. I think I may have found a fellow DVC owner who will do it with me. Neither of our DWs are big StarWars fans.

DVC Can book 10/7-10/9, DisVisa Card holders can book 10/12, GenPublic can book 10/28

The prices are mind boggling to me.
Many of the folks who would pay this are not interested in the Disney\Kennedy version of Star Wars - so will be interesting to see how this goes.

As for the bloggers\influencers - unless Disney gives it to them for free I dont think all that many of them will do it, and if they get it for free I really dont care about their review of it.
