We have 3 full days to see 3 different parks! Which one for Saturday?

We are going to DL, DCA and KBF in October! we will be there Thurs, Fri and Sat. we are leaving Sun afternoon to come home. Which park should we choose for Saturday? When is it best to go to Knotts?

KBF closes at 5:30 on both Fri and Sat for their Halloween Party
DL closes at 6 for HP on fri and is open all day/night on Sat
DCA should be open 10am-9pm (we are thinking Thursday is our best day to see Carsland!)

What park would you see on Saturday, with the crowds?

Are you skipping the Halloween Parties?

I would do....
DCA Thursday FP RSR first thing in the morning.
KBF Friday.
DL Saturday for the longer day and full entertainment.

Thurs: DCA because you'll still be able to see WOC during the week, while Fantasmic or the fireworks in DL are not usually shown on weekdays during low times

Fri: KBF because there is a HUGE difference between weekday crowds at KBF compared to weekend (much bigger difference than at DLR). You'll have much lower crowds. DLR on Fridays can be VERY high crowds because of the locals.

Sat: DL because all the night time shows will be showing along with getting a full day at the park.

Everything is still up in the air, nothing is definite until we buy tickets but we are still planning on the HP at DL on friday night! Mainly going for the party and a few rides, esp if we go back to DL on Sat! This is what I thought would be my best plan but I know Friday will be a long day! We are used to going fullblast/nonstop! We are the type of people that need a vacation from our vacation!

Since DCA closes at 7 on thurs, we would be getting to bed earlier that night too! KBF doesn't open until 10am, how long does it take to get there from FFI? we are thinking of taking the bus,(430 I think from Manchester)We want to be there when park opens to make most of our day.

I was also thinking we could eat Knotts chicken dinner for a very late lunch before we leave, then we would be full for the evening and won't have to worry about that while at the party. Maybe a snack? Is that a good idea?

My son is too little for most of the rides but he and I will hang out at Camp Snoopy while my husband tackles the thrill rides! My husband loves rollercoasters and so this is his special park to visit! I like them too but it is just not the same waiting in line by yourself, I rather hang out with my son! Do they have single rider lines there? He will be riding them by himself while I am with my son so that will save some time! Thanks for all the tips you have given me!

Knotts is close. I think you want the Metro 460 Express that goes to Knotts and takes about 15 minutes.

I wouldn't worry about lines too much at knotts. If you get there at openings DH can probably do all the coasters by noon. Line won't pick up until late afternoon when you may be on your way out. There is a ticket option for some of the coasters that lets you skip lines, but I wouldn't consider it if you aren't there on a weekend. I don't think they use Single Rider but I've never been alone looking for it.

DCA on Thursday may close as early as 8pm possibly 9 or 10.

The Halloween party unless they changed it this year is actually in DCA not DLR.

Friday at KBF is a solid choice! Knott's Berry Farm is dead on the days they have the Halloween Haunt. I go there with my nieces in October and get on all the rided with little waiting. I'd do the Chicken Dinner after the park closed, then head back to the hotel. Just my two cents.

They did change it. lol It is in DLR this year. They close it down to regular guests at the official start of the party and kick non party ticket holders out or over to DCA.

We are staying at FFI so I think the metro is better option, doesn't look like Art 18 is near FFI but I do appreciate the help as I am unfamiliar with getting around
