Hi everyone, we got back to PEI on Sunday. We were gone for 12 days (November 30 - December 11) - 2 days for travel which left us 10 days in Orlando. Noone should go for less than 10 days - we spent 7 at Disney, 1 in Seaworld and 2 by the pool. I am trying to find time to do a trip report before I forget everything but wow - now I have to do Christmas.
Highlights
our very favourite restaurant was Crystal Palace - by DH wanted to go back because the roast beef was the best he had ever had (and he loves his beef), but we had so many other restaurants we wanted to try, we never did try to go back.
The adults favourite park was Animal Kingdom - the kids loved it too, but their vote was for Magic Kingdom.
The best fireworks show - Illuminations - WOW WOW - and the extra bit for Christmas was awesome.
The best show for the adults was Candlelight Processional and Illuminations - we had a dinner package for Rose and Crown. We didn`t get a table on the deck but we got to go out on the deck to a small area reserved for patrons inside the restaurant (they call it the VIP section of the deck) to watch Illuminations.
The best show for the kids was the 3D shows, especially the new one in MK, Mickeys PhilharMagic and the Lion King in Animal Kingdom. These 2 are not to be missed.
The worst show/ride was Stitch`s Great Escape. It was awful, the shoulder harness hurt our shoulders.
Best parade - we couldn`t pick - we loved them all......
Overall - the weather was awesome, the crowds were very light, we waited no more than 10 minutes for anything. My DD is in a wheelchair - we were so impressed with how we could get around so easily. We live in a town with many old building that are not accessible....
