My little girl got to wake up tinkerbell while we visited the MK... we got there very early... like just a minute after opening... she was the 3rd child there.. two other older children around 10 or so got their first but they said they wanted my little 3 yr old to set up on the counter and they could stand in the floor.. it was really cute! My little one keeps talking about it! So if you are going anytime soon make sure to go to Tinker Bell Treasures and wake her up for the day!!!

How special for her. Were you there so early because of finishing breakfast at CRT? It seems like most people who get to do this have had a jump on the rope drop (no pun intended)! My dd was chosen a couple of years ago to open Fantasyland for the day, again because we had just finished breakfast.

This trip, we aren't doing breakfast, lunch instead. I'm assuming this will leave us out of the running.

On our trip in June my son tried twice to wake up Tinkerbell. The first time we had an early breakfast at CP, but when we got there she was already awake. The second time, we just arrived at the park when it opened and headed straight there and he got to wake her up!!...Don't count yourself out of the running.

We got to wake up Tink too! On our trip last Oct, my DD (then 6) got to wake up Tink after our breakfast at CRT. She and my DS also got to open Fantasyland. We were right at the rope drop from the Castle to Fantasyland. Unfortunately, she was outrun by a *grown man* whose DD (maybe 14?) kept saying "Dad, you're racing a LITTLE GIRL!" She was so embarrassed and he did beat my DD into the shop, but the WONDERFUL CM let us do it too. True magic just when I thought all was lost!

How nice of those girls. How great for your dd. We were going to try and do it last time. I set up a 8:05 breakfast at CP. I was so excited until I realized at the front gate that we forgot our park passes back at the hotel. It is just an excuse to go back.

What a special memory for your little girl and you!!!!! I love those special things at Disney World; that is why we keep coming back!!!!!

my dd6 thinks she is Tink! She really wanted to wake up her favorite person when we were there last month. I sent her with my ds12 to run ahead to the store but unfortunately, my ds went everywhere but to the store! By the time the rest of us arrived Tink was already up. The cm's told dd to look thru the keyhole to see if Tink was there. Noone else could, but dd decided she'd seen her. I told her to stand in front and point to the keyhole so I could take her picture. Well, there's a mirror on the chest that reflected the flash. DD decided that flash was a pic of Tink! She also decided that Tink was so small, she really was flying around the shop leaving the light trail behind. Made her happy so I'm not complaining!

Does anyone have a decent pic of Tink flying overhead during Wishes that they wouldn't mind sharing? Mine didn't come out and dd REALLY wants that pic.
Thanks.

Hmmm, how does one wake up Tinkerbell? What is it? Ive read a little and am really confused, do they have something flying around the store?

From what I have been reading, Tink doesn't really fly. It's just a string of fiber optical lights that signals the presence of her "pixie dust" as she "flies" around the room.

where can you see this? What key hole?? This sounds cool!! But I never knew???

A grown man trying to beat a 6-year-old child into the shop? For shame!

if I'm remembering correctly, go thru the castle and there's a store to the left? I know it's right outside the castle. I think it's called Tinkerbell's Treasures. Go inside and ask the cm's, they'll point out a wooden chest of drawers that Tink hangs out in. If you look thru the keyhole you're supposed to see her but it wasn't working last month. There's also a wooden box on the wall by a window with a pic of Peter Pan right near it. Fiber optic lights lead a trail from the box to the chest and bells ring, that's Tink flying. If you're the first person to ask, they'll give you a wand to tap on the box and wake up Tink.

This didn't happen to be on Friday, Sept 30, was it? Because if so my daughter and my niece were the 2 other girls!!! princess: princess:
Was your dd wearing a Belle costume?
I have some ADORABLE digital pictures of the 3 girls - if it is your dd private message me & I will send them to you!

It's a funny coincidence if it wasn't you because that is exactly what happened to us, and our girls thought the other little girl was adorable in her costume! Our girls really enjoyed waking Tink and we were glad the other little girl could join in too - they were all so cute together!

I found a picture of my dd, my niece and another little girl waking Tink that I can comfortably post (because the little girl's face is obscured). They loaned our girls the crowns and wands but the other little girl had her whole Belle outfit so she was prepared! princess:

Wow, my kids got to wake her up on 10/4. We got there really early; were the first ones through the gates; walked quickly, and there were still some kids there before us. (They had an early breakfast). The lady at the register said, "Hey wait! Let everyone wake her up together." So the three girls donned crowns and my son a sword, and they woke her up in unison. I'm glad the other two kids were willing to share in waking up Tink. It was the highlight of DD's day.

oh my goodness!!!!!!!!!! yes.. that is my little Belle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for letting us share in this special ocassion! She is still telling everyone to this day she woke up Tink! It really made her trip and ours!!! thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It really meant a lot to us your girls let her do it too!!!!!!!!

That is so neat!

That is so funny that we met up here!!!! I thought it was wonderful that all the girls could do it together. Your daughter looked just adorable in her dress - what a princess! princess:

I private-messaged you so I can send you the other digital pics I took.
