Last September we were in Epcot and heading to Journey into Imagination (based on Kathy's recommendations of course). As we neared the building a cast member approached us and asked how old our kids were. Turns out our kids DS 9 and DD 7 were just the right age to test out a new video game that Disney was in the process of making. The CM led us upstairs in the building that Journey to Imagination is in (what a view from up there!) and we were greeted by the software folks that were working on a new game for Disney Cruise Line. After we signed our lives away, and put the cameras away, the kids got to play the new game. The cast members and software folks spent the better part of an hour with the kids playing the game and asking their thoughts, ideas, opinions, etc. They took tons of videos and photos of the kids playing this game. They even measured the kids to make sure the keyboard was at the right height. Tonight we were looking at all of the pictures of the Dream on wdwinfo.com and came across the game the kids got to pilot. http://photopost.wdwinfo.com/disney-dream-kids-clubs/p62302-oceaneer-lab-29.html

The kids are so excited to see "their game" actually made it onto the Dream. We are sailing on the Dream in March and the first thing the kids want to do is head straight to the Oceaneers Lab and check out their game. Just had to share. It was kinda' fun to be involved in the Disney design process even for just a minute or two!
