We got some info from Disney in the mail yesterday......

and I have NEVER EVER seen my 7 yr old DD get so excited. Jumping up and down begging for me to OPEN IT MOMMY OPEN IT.

I do...its just gen stuff and lay the envelope on the counter where she picks it up......flips it over........looks inside the sections............and says to me "Mommy they forgot to put our balloon in here".

I almost laughed...and thought that was so sweet. Just shows us the MAGIC that Disney really makes for our kids (and us too).

That is so sweet! When my soon to be 10yr old daughter sees the commercial on tv of the boy in the classroom with the balloons she says "I wish that could really happen!!" lol

We have been telling our boys for the last 2 years that one our HUGE piggy bank is full, we'll be taking a trip to WDW - little do they know that it will be in 6 mo!

One of my 4 year old DS's ses the commericals all the time and he ALWAYS says, that "We's gonna get a balloon when we get invited to go to Disney World". They are ALWAYS looking through the mail to see if we got a balloon and invitation

That's so cute, and it sounds like something my DD would say. You gave me a good idea for our big reveal, though. My birthday is 45 days before we leave (Sat. after Thanksgiving), so we're thinking about telling the girls then. We really need a new suitcase, so I told DH that "Mickey" should leave me a suitcase, filled with a few Disney things for the whole family, plus a countdown chain. But now I'm thinking it would be really cute to let our DDs open the suitcase and have a Mickey head balloon float up out of it! Surely I can order those balloons somewhere.

That is too cute!! I'm thinking about wrapping a HUGE box for DD12s bday and having her open it and have the balloons come out. I think she would like that a lot! lol I just have to figure out the logistics of it all first.......

Okay you need to get a large box, put some helium balloons in it and let them open it....maynot have fireworks but you know they'll freak when the balloons lift out of the box top.

We're going for dc bdays in June. The week before we go we're having a family bday celebration and I'm doing the box/balloon thingie. I can't wait to see their faces! I've been planning this since Novemebr - unbeknownst to them Three weeks until we tell them, 4 weeks until we go!
