I'm so sorry to hear this happend to you. I am one of those trusting "never in Disney" types who leaves everything in the stroller. My DH is constantly lecturing me about what could happen -- I guess we've been lucky. Hope it didn't ruin the rest of your evening & thanks for sharing your story. You've helped at least one person with your warning!

Yeah, me too!!! I am way too trusting and my Dh lectures me way too much about it!

Normally this would work, but this happened to the OP at The Land Pavilion, which is a big building that they do not allow strollers into... so you must leave your stroller outside and it would be really inconvenient to make someone wait outside with it.

In this situation, the best thing to do is take anything of value inside with you.

It's sad that you can't even leave something of very little value and not worry about it getting stolen.

I have to think this must have been a teenager up to no good....why would an adult steal a half-drunk margarita and a box of chocolates? If they could afford a park ticket surely they can afford to buy their own Margarita? No offense to the OP, but yuck! lol

Just and FYI for all. Never, ever leave a drink unattended. Even a baby bottle. You never know what some nut may put in it and think it's funny.

I see people do this all the time at theme parks then go back and drink their drink or worse have their kids drink it. With all that goes on in the world today don't take the chance.

Sorry to hear you were robbed... I knew they'd take the chocolates and leave the rest. Shows the mentality of the robber!

We were in the Boston aquarium once and the girl behind me tried to steal stuff out of my backpack right next to me. Always be careful.
