We got POR!!!!

I was so dissapointed when I made my ressies last week and all the moderates were full, so we booked POP by default. Well last night I dreamt I was at POR, so....I called first thing this morning and...not only did a room become available but.. it had the AAA discount!!! I am going to Disneyworld and Riverside!! May 10-14!

Thanks I am so excited- my one concern is magical express now that I have changed reorts after they have already mailed out my luggage tags. Will it know to go to POR now instead of POP? And i went to the disney website and pulled up my itinerary and it was a total balance price of both the pop and por rooms, but it did have the correct deposit. maybe it updates after midnight? It no longer shows the pop ressie though. I'll call tomorrow if it doesnt update. But has anyone else had that problem on the website?

Congrats!!! We spent our honeymoon at POR in May of '99 and loved every minute of it from walking around the grounds to the quiet boat rides to/from DTD.

Yes I have the same problem on the website. We were originally booked at CSR and then switched to POR. The balance is both ressies combined but the deposit amount is correct. I'm not worried about it. My confirmation was correct and I know the website has alot of errors.

Congrats ...POR rocks Actually, it's nice and serene after a busy day at the parks. We stayed there twice, the second time being this past Spring Break, and I don't have a bad thing to say about the place. We all loved it so much! It's so beautiful and relaxing.

We'll be at the POR-Waterview for May 12-14, and then AKL-Savannah view for the 14-16 and we're so excited about it. Now I just hope we get a decent room at both places but I am trying not to fret too much about that.

Disnee Dad Says......................................... We will be staying for the fourth time in five trips at DIXIE LANDINGS, this time for the whole trip.

Tried enough places, time to settle into one spot for the whole trip at the best value at WDW. Unless you get the rate we got for AKL, back when tourism was way down, maybe $129 a night!

You can't go wrong with DIXIE LANDINGS!!!

LOL DisnyMama, that is what I sung at the top of my lungs all morning after I snagged the room!!!! My kids think I've lost it! But after 9 years of planning, I still cant decide on mansions or bayou. Decided to request building 27 in the bayou or Magnolia Terrace and see where fate puts me.
