We Got Our Vouchers... Fast!

I signed up myself and DH sometime around the end of February to participate in a volunteer opportunity, one that was sort of a "do it on your own schedule" thing. We made up our "treasure boxes" for teachers last Sunday, and DH dropped them off on Wednesday. We got our email vouchers TODAY! That was sure quick! Too bad we have to wait until this fall to go to Disney!

Hi Marcie! I just signed us up for this same opportunity today- so in the nick of time. It is a total win win for us! I am a teacher in Scottsdale but I used to teach in a much more impoverished school. My first year in Scottsdale, I almost cried when I saw how much my students brought compared to my old school where no-one had a pencil and a lot came out of my pocket. So, just the Treasures for Teachers organization hit a soft spot. But, I also have SO many supplies that I will never use that I am happy to find a new home for them. So, I get to volunteer on my schedule, clean out some drawers in my classroom (which I will also buy some things for the boxes too), help out teachers, and earn a free ticket. Whoo hoo!

I got my voucher pretty quick as well! I got it 3 days after I had volunteered, I couldn't believe how fast it was. I was expecting the two week window as they had stated on their website. i was a little nervous since our trip is coming up soon.
