However, inside there was the box/folder of paperwork and one hat. That's just not fair! Isn't there supposed to be a tote bag? I want a tote! Also, does anyone know if the minimum buy-in at AKL is 100pts or 160pts? I was thinking about slightly altering my contract to an AKL 100pt with a BLT 100pt add-on instead of 160pts at BLT. I'd call, but it's really late. I'm sure the unchain my guide and let him go home at least a couple nights a week!

Yes, currently the minimum buy in for AKV is 100 points.

Not sure if the gifts are still the totes or not. I would check with your guide. And yes, you can certainly do 100 AKV and 100 BLT points. Even if the minimum was 160 at each, Disney has been allowing new members to split between home resorts as long as one contract is at least 100 and giving the buyer the incentives based on total purchase.

My guide is off today. I will call him tomorrow to see about altering the contracts. I have Oct UY for the BLT points. I was thinking of Feb or April UY for the AKV points.

also, as soon as i opened the box, everything fell out of the binder. lol!

all this being said, we decided against buying through disney. we're going the resale route. i guess i have to send the hats back anyway.
