A few months ago wasn't there a way we could identify other dis families? When I did a search all I came up with was the bride forum. They wear a pink Mickey. It would be fun to see each other at the Outpost or Settlement bus stops or other places.

I know they had a thread on how to make the lights. If I can remember this was a way to identify yourself either at your campsite or in person. A little later I will try to find the light thread and see if it is in there.

You are right!! There is a thread about a green bulb in the Mickey lights. If you read further on the thread some have done lime green signs at their campsites with their online name. One did a lime green Mickey head on their camera bag and met another disser at Epcot because of it. I remembered reading it but didn't realize it was from June 2006!

Thanks for remembering the thread topic! Now to find a lime green Mickey!

DIS uses lime green Mickey heads from Home Depot and TGM uses blue/yellow mickey heads from HomeDepot ....

by the time I put on all those colors and things and put on bright stuff on the scooter and lights on this and lights on that.... we'll be dangerous

Actually, DH doesn't want to bring along decorations for the campsite and camper even though it's 2 weeks cause of limited space (I don't know what he means (smiling innocently and pointing at 8 suitcases packed and more to go...) But you know how it is in Nov.. gotta pack for different temperatures.... I could leave it all home and just buy new at some Disney place every day! hmmm.. good idea! Will discuss with DH.. ha! Then there's my 22 pairs of Crocs to match every outfit (see? you won't have any trouble recognizing us by my Crocs... )

We had a Disney lamp post and a not-so-good Winnie one we made and both were stolen at a state park so no more ..waaaaaa.

Thanks TwoGriswolds for the information on the Home Depot paint samples.

Our room is limited as well with packing for warm and cool clothes. By the time we are packed I don't want to think about which decorations to pack!

I am sorry you had to give up part of your reservation but I bet you made someone very happy.

Maybe we will see each other. I will look for someone wearing multiple pair of crocs!
