I think your firework photos are great! And you're very right, having the heads in the frames just makes it more realistic. Because, let's be honest, who doesn't have tall people or kids on dad's shoulders blocking their view. All part of the viewing experience.

Yup - We leave on Monday November 4th. We have a cruise sandwiched in between with an arrival on October 24th. I think we have a late flight on the 24th. I would absolutely love to meet you. I totally get it why you are coming in early November. Don't think I didn't toy around with the idea of starting my entire trip one week later, but Denny really wanted to be on the cruise for his B-day (Halloween). I am a bit disappointed that we will be leaving before the Christmas decorations. If we had booked the cruise one week later we would have had some F&W and then some Christmas. *sigh*

I am also height-challenged (5'0"), so I sympathize with you and the others. But you are right- it is great that you captured the fireworks as you see them.

Even though I don't like Hallowe'en (is that weird? Hahaha) I love Disney's Hallowe'en party. They do a fantastic job of everything.
Ahhh I should have a club for short Disney lovers! Looks like there's a lot of us around here!

Well folks, we've arrived at my last Disney day! Am I sad? No. If you asked me two weeks ago I would probably drag this out for another year, but now with my shiny new ticker, I'm excited to get on with the plans for the next trip. But don't worry, I'll do the rest of this trip justice. It has some pretty spectacular stuff left to talk about.

"Farewell to Art of Animation"

We had a few missions to accomplish this day. It would not be a relaxing last day by any means. Several things that had been on our to-do list had yet to be checked off.

- Take pictures of all of the resort
- IllumiNations
- MK opening show
- Swim in the Big Blue pool
- Fastpass +

Plus a breakfast ADR!

Would we get it all in? Well, I had a plan.

At 7am we were up and at 'em. We got dressed and ready for the day and headed down to walk across the resort to the Cars section -- the only one we hadn't yet explored. Cameras in hand we arrived to a nearly empty section. I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves:

I had to get a picture of my military man with the military jeep (forgive me, I don't know the Cars characters! )

So? My thoughts?

I wasn't a big fan of the Cars movie, and I never saw any sequels. I did, however, LOVE the Cars section of the resort, maybe more than any other section. It was fantastically done and the road with the street lights and the vegetation were amazing. The statues of the cars themselves were crazy mind blowing, like looking at the movie come to life. I can't say what the inside was like, but the outside was incredible. The pool was a little smaller than I expected (but it IS a quiet pool after all) and I could see the traffic cone cabanas causing issues at busy times, but really, this section was gorgeous.

So! That's one thing checked off our list!
