He watches Brothers Garcia on TV alot so I had a wonderful idea. Mom and John went along with me...so I asked J.C.
Did you know that my real last name is Garcia?
He looks at me really funny...I said yep your grandaddy's real last name was Garcia but he changed it right after I was born because it was too hard for me to pronounce. J.C. goes running to ask mom and she said "yes, your mom couldn't pronounce Garcia so we changed our last name to Dodd which was really easy for her."
So with all this packing there are a lot of my old books and things from when I was little out and I got one and wrote Beth Garcia really messy on the inside and showed it to him.
By this time he really believes us and John is about to fall out of the chair laughing.....we finally let him in on it and he was about ready to kill us. I thought it was hillarious.
