Yesterday!!! I just couldn't believe they had availability, especially since it is a holiday weekend and we are about 2 months out! The real shocker was how many rooms they had available, we could have done a 1 bed at Boardwalk and VWL, and 2 studios at OKW and SSR. I know I haven't owned for very long, but I have been very pleased with how last minute trips have been working out!

I am happy to hear that! With all the hoopla going on about reserving, I am relieved to hear you were able to book a holiday weekend at short notice and have your choice of resorts. With everything that I have been reading on these boards, I have to say, I have been very discouraged. I am a new owner as well. We are making our first trip to AKV in August and had no trouble booking at the 7 month window. (We are going on developers points)
But with all the chaos I've been reading, I was starting to maybe regret purchasing DVC at all. Your post makes me feel much better.
