That's great! And I'm glad you went up to them. I would have wanted to meet you if I'd lost my camera.
We found a lost older child at MK once. We were at guest services having our tickets upgraded to APs when a man came in and said that he'd lost his 14 year old daughter. He told them exactly what she was wearing, but they said they couldn't do much to help because she wasn't a young child. When we left, we were walking down Main Street and saw an upset young lady wearing the same thing the dad had said she was wearing. We asked her if she was lost, and she said she was. We tried to explain where her parents were, but she was too upset to understand, so I took her. While talking to her, it turned out that she was supposed to be in charge of her younger sister and thought that she was lost, too. I assured her that her father had only said they'd lost one child, so younger sister must be fine. Then she saw her parents on the sidewalk, and all was well.
