We found grill's at WLV's!!!

I see the question of grill's come up every once in a while... Since we grill, we typically notice which resorts have them, and which one's don't... Well I am happy to report that WLV's actually DO have a grill!!! I'm actually shocked we never noticed before, but if you are standing at the tetherball game in the sand & look back to the right, you will see TWO charcoal grills!! You cannot see the grills from the walkway, but if you stand at the game, you'll see them...

So, for all future reference, the WLV's do have a grill

...much less the grills.We head back to VWL this Friday so we'll look for both. Are these items actually VWL amenities or WL items ?

I would think that the grills are VWL amenities. I can't imagine that anyone staying on the WL side packed a suitcase full of burgers.

We'll be there in June. Maybe I can send my "Grillmeister" out to whip us up some dinner.

I am excited about your find. Had a similar find last month at BCV. Those grills (between Dunes Cove and the canal) were hard enough to find that they looked completely unused!

Where they there before? I emailed MS last spring and asked about the grills at VWL. I was told they were not allowed because of all of the woods and wooden sturctures. At that time I asked that they be put in and explained that all of the other timeshares I have visited have them. We could have used one last July when we were there. Thanks for the info about it.

HOLD UP!!!

There are grill's at BCV's??? Where's Dunes Cove? Someone please direct me to the grill's at BCV's!!! We were there in September & really could have used them!!!

Okay, you will find the tetherball game thing to the left of the boat/bike rental place... it's a ball on a string on a post in the sand!!!! My DH said that they were alluminium charcoal grill's, definitely an afterthought for the resort... Just go to that tetherball thing & look for two shiny things LOL.... While you're there, don't forget to rent the surrey's over to the petting zoo, definitely a fun kid thing to do!

I said I didn't know where the tether ball game was,not what it is . Thanx for the info,I'll be sure to pack my burgers so when I can't check in before 4, (oops,different thread), I can at least fix myself some lunch.

I was just there two weeks ago. I walked down to the lake to feel how cold it was and noticed the kids play area but never noticed the grills. I will look for them the next time we go and fire up some burgers. Thanks for the info chris1gill.

I have to say this caught me so off guard I let out an audible laugh!!! But, while you're packing those burgers, don't forget to pack yourself some charcoal cause these aren't gas grills mind you!!!

Oh dkellumw, and you actually have to go right to the tetherball thing & look to the right (rear) to see the grills, otherwise you will not see them. That's probably why none of us ever found them!!!

YES !! I'll confirm this. We saw the grills too during our Thanksgiving stay last week. Funny, we didn't see them in March, even though we were there on a much longer stay.

Do you think they were installed recently ?????

"Dunes Cove" is the quiet pool at BCV. Start at the hot tub and face the canal. The grills are on a path off to the left.
