We FINALLY Did It!!!!!!!!!!

During our trip this past week, we joined DVC on Saturday afternoon!!!

We now own points to AKV...LOVE LOVE LOVE this resort

It took us a year basically from our first meeting with our guide last June, stays at BWV, SSR and AKL to decide to go ahead. Plus, couldn't beat the incentive that started last Thursday....the $8 a point discount Mickey made part of the down payment , so that meant we got in pretty cheap Saturday out of pocket up front. We couldn't say no

We also got the 200 points to SSR maintenance free for one year and a December use year. I may not be able to use our AKV points until May and that is ok. SSR is beautiful and is not that far from the parks. You come out on the same road as POR's resorts are located on.

We are so thrilled and spent this morning getting the little emblems for our cars

Now to go find the AKV siggy thingy

Congrats!!!! We just bought AKV on Thurs. 6/19!!! So excited I can't stand it. After more trips to WDW than I can count and after a tour of the sample villas at AKV it was too much for me and I took the plunge and put down a deposit. I am at home now waiting for the paperwork to arrive because I wanted my husband's name on the deed also and he was not along on this trip just me any my daughters. I can't wait for my member ID number so I can access the site. I want to make ressies for Feb. 09 for the hubby and I with the bonus (or whatever those extra matching points are called) we got for the AKV Kidani Village sale opening special incentive deal that we received. Anyway, I am happy to be a new member of the DVC family and hope to meet some of you in person in the future.

You can get the magnet and window decal at the gift shop at AKL...they had a bunch this morning
