We Finally Decided On A Resort!!! (ASD Related)

Drum roll please.......SARATOGA SPRING RESORT & SPA It has literally taken months to make this decision. After reading reviews and looking at pictures of resorts and reading recommendations here we decided that a kitchen and washer/dryer are a must. Saratoga will be a true escape for us and for DD when we are taking breaks from the parks. The zero entry pool will be wonderful. I also like the fact that the resort is on water. Having a 1 bedroom will give DH, DD and I privacy but will also allow us to share the accomodations with a friend of ours. And imagine soaking in that jacuzzi tub every day, ahhhhhh. Now that is a vacation! DD must have her own bed so we are going to pack an Areo Bed in a suitcase and she will stay with us in the master bedroom. Our dear friend will use the pull out couch. Our friend has RA and will need to use an ECV. Do the buildings at SSR have elevators or will I need to request a first floor room?

The buildings all have elevators, so don't worry.

We have stayed at SSR about 5 times. It's very nice and I think you will be pleased.

Thank you Sue! We are very excited. The total cost for all us of really wasn't that bad and it will fit in our budget after all.

We just got back 9/8/07 from SSR DH, DS8(PDD_NOS) and myself. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom villa. It was to much room. DS slept on the coach bed and used the 2nd bedroom as his play/TV area during the day. It is a wonderful place to stay. The CM are very friendly and can get you just about anything you need.We did have a rental car so I can not tell you how the bus is. If you have any questions please let me know. I can say you have made a wise choice.
