We FINALLY closed today!!!!

Hi all,

We finally closed today! I just got the email from Jaki that it happened!

Now, she said I can call MS next Thursday and ask if they have our membership number. Does this mean that IF they do have it, I can go ahead and make our vacation plans for December???

I'm very excited, but I can't wait to actually make plans and get our paperwork/cards from Disney to have it seem more real.

Thanks everyone for all your help though this process, answering all my questions.

Congratulations ( I can't officially welcome you home as I am waiting to close myself)!We bought from Jaki also- How long did it take you to close and will you hear tomorrow Thursday or week from Thurs? We also are very anxious to see if there are any ressies left at BW Dec 30 -Jan3 for 3 two bedrooms(trying to take down the whole family) After you call would you mind letting me know if you are successful? I'm afraid nothing will be left there and we'll have to wait for another year. Thanks!

The process for us started on January 13, I think, and then we closed today. That's about 3 1/2 weeks. Now, it could have happened at least a week sooner or more if we had our financing when she sent us the paperwork. We had to wait for our check from our financing company and then we had to wait 5 days for that check to clear at our bank, and then we had to get a Cashier's check which we sent them yesterday (Next Day Air) and they closed today!

She said we could call MS Thursday of NEXT week. I wish it were tomorrow!!

I'm going the beginning of December and because our kids are so little (5 and 2 in December) we may stay at GF for our first vacation using points. I know I should stay at our 'home' BWV cause the points are low and it's our home and the room will be large, but I've always dreamed about the GF and its near MK which is where we spend most of our time. So I don't think I could really help you with the availability.

Thanks for sharing, I think you will love the GF. We've stayed there a couple of times and it will be wonderful for your young children- so convenient to MK!. I'm resigned to the fact that we may have to use our points at the BC this year which is okay because we love it , but not okay because we will use almost 3 years of points to get 5 rooms there. Well I should be looking for pixie dust - maybe I'll get lucky!
