When my wife (mad hatter fan) and I considered getting a puppy, late last year, we were trying to think of a names to give our soon to be new member of the family. Unlike naming our three kids, this name could be a little more "non-traditional" and Disney-like.

When we picked out this new puppy, his given name was Victor, which did nothing for us. Since we ruled out all girl names (for obvious reasons), we tried to think of all the Disney boys names and pick one that seemed appropriate. We both felt really good about the name Koda, and so it is today that this is our Koda. Though not a bear, he's just as furry and lovable. He's a Mini Goldendoodle (75% poodle, 25% golden retriever), and right now, at almost eight months old, he's about 28 pounds.

If you're like us and named your pet a Disney name, share a picture of him or her with us here. I'm actually really curious to find if anyone else has a Koda out there too.

Hi there

That's exactly what I wanted to see! Thanks on your comment about Koda. My DD would absolutely love Jasmine and Beauty really is a beauty!

Cute pets, some of mine have Disney names too:

Jessica Rabbit (with her sister Princess Jasmine)

I also have a hamster called Stitch Mickey, who I need to take a picture of (I just realised I don't have one!)

I have 2 other rabbits too called Roxy and Velma, although I know they are non Disney names but I was trying to think of girl duo names as they are sisters!

Danauk, so far, you win for the most pets named after Disney characters! Congrats on that. I can only imagine the personality of a Stitch Mickey!

Dana your cats look just like our two when sleeping!

Our theme for cat's names is US presidents, so far have used 4 names and have several others waiting for when the time is right :D

Claire ;)

Great job! And he's an adorable puppy!

We have always tried to use some form of disney in our pets names. :thumbsup2

Dogs: :dog: Disney's Magic we call him Magic, Monster of the Castle (he is our Monster!) Belle and the Magical Cricket! We had 2 English Mastiffs...Tinkerbell & Pixiedust awesome names for 200 lbs of dog!

Cats :ccat: have mainly been acquired in pairs...we've had O"Malley & Dutchess, Rajah & Jasmine, Simba & Nala

It's fun trying to find something from Disney to add to their names!

I'm sorry i don't have pics to post but i thought i would share that my hubby and i have 4 cats all disney named mickey, minnie, pluto, and figaro:wizard:

What a great idea for a thread! I love seeing special pets. Koda is so handsome, as are the other pets we've seen. Thanks so much for sharing them.

This is my Daisy.

She's been with us about a year now. The vet thinks she's about 3 years old. No way to tell, since she's a rescue from the shelter. I'm pretty sure she's part Cocker, part Poodle, and part ChowChow.
Might be some terrier of some kind in there too. I dunno. LOL Whatever her combination, she has become the queen of this castle.

Some days, she's the only thing that makes me laugh~

As I started reading your post, I almost thought you were going to say that you named your hubby a Disney name. Maybe he's like me and just gets called Goofy for other reasons.:)

TwistofLemon, Daisy is very pretty. Her color is really nice and it's great that she's got a super loving home now. Thanks for sharing her with us.

I love all of the pets! I just love the bunnies! I had bunnies as a child, they were great, yours are adorable!

My 2 dogs are kinda named Disney names, not characters but things that can be found at WDW. Kona as in Kona Cafe and Kali as in Kali River Rapids. I didn't plan it that way, just liked the names. There are pictures of them as puppies in my signature, they are both Shiba Inus. Kona is now 18 months old and Kali is 9 months.

i dont know how to post pics but i have a green cheeked conure whos name is Minnie and loves the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show(my dd5 watches it..ok so do i with of course;)) and the reason shes named minnie is because my daughters baby doll is daisy oohh we do have a few hermit crabs with different disney char. on them

I plan on getting a yorkie & naming him or her Mufasa.
Does that count? ;)

I already had a forum like this :guilty:

But, whatever.

My doxie is named Pumba because he is fat like Pumba and walks like him.

My cairn terrior is named Lucky, after the 101 dalmation that likes to watch tv

Don't have a pic right now...but my 2 American Eskimos have passed. They were Simba and Nala. They were both girls but we liked the names together!!!
