Just Fed Ex'd overnight priority our $$ to DVD for 150 pts for BCV

I'm so excited I can't stand it!!!!!

What has been your experience on how things progressed once they receive your $$ to when you are able to book your trip home.

Actually, when I bought in, they put a hold on a room for me before I even sent my down payment. If I remember right, they were able to make a reservation as soon as the payment was received and a tentative member number was given to me. Of course, it was all contingent on my financing and closing to go as planned. I definitely had a firm reservation well before closing.

I was able to make a reservation right after making the down payment. I made the down payment via credit card over the phone and when I called a couple of days later they had me in the system. I just gave them the contract number, which is all I had at the time, and it was no problem to make a reservation.

We put our deposit on a CC so as soon as we gave them the CC #, we were able to make a reservation.

Because of our cancelled cruise we had to rearrange our plans for the next 3yrs. We wont officially be "home" for 35months!
We banked 2001 points to 2002 so we could go on the cruise. In 2003 we were planning on going "home" to VWL. Since our cruise was cancelled only 22hrs before we left our real home we had to stay outside the DVC collection as that was the only place they could put us. 2003 we are rescheduled on the cruise. Hopefully in 2004 we will get "home" to VWL. Good luck
