We did it!!

Took our 3rd trip to WDW last week and stayed at the Poly again. We decided to have lunch at OKW and tour the resort; on the bus over to OKW we talked with a DVC member who loved DVC and gave us his referral card. After lunch I went outside and DH said he was going to the bathroom but came outside with a handfull of info on DVC and said he'd booked a tour for us. Well bottom line is we bought 200 points and we are so excited. I'm sure the DVC member who gave us the referral will be surprised to get $250 Disney dollars. Thanks to everyone on this board for all the answers and suggestions you gave me in the months prior to our decision to purchase DVC. I only wish we'd bought in sooner.

WLCOME HOME Where is your new home???

Our home resort will be Saratoga Springs. We wanted Beach Club or Old Key West but they were sold out unless we bought from a reseller. DVC had some incredible specials going on; double points the first year plus 20% off the purchase price so we decided we'd just go with SSR and stay at the other resorts. We are so excited to be DVC members. Now I need to read all the tips and suggestions from veteran owners.

We've been going to Disney World since 2003 and on our 2007 trip we took in August my wife and I were passing a DVC kiosk and my wife, kidding around with the DVC rep asks " so have any deals going on"? and he replys "well yes we do" and the rest is history. We love Saratoga Springs and are leaving on Saturday for 10 great days.

What's your favorite building? The resort seems really big and we didn't walk around and look at all the buildings. Have you stayed at any of the other DVC resorts down there and did you like them?
