Okay, we just come back from a 17night trip to Orlando, but I had to book the next trip.
We, that are DH and me.

Disney UK offered free dining with a moderate or deluxe resort by booking till today. As I missed this offer for the SSR last year and we then stayed at the POFQ what was really great, I wont miss it again and booked today.

10/20-10/31 eleven nights at a Studio at the SSR
14 day ultimate park tickets and
Disney Dining Plan.

We will go on the Disney Dream afterwards from 10/31 -11/3 and will stay the last days at the HRH and Universal before going home.

We did the same itery this year and it was great beside Sandy was spoiling our DCL part. We were on the 25th October cruise that spend the complete 3 days on see with beauforts between 9 and 11.

TO DO :
• Booking flights (want to book at least one using Amexpoints)
• Booking Rental Car
• Booking DCL
• Booking HRH
• Booking Tickets for Universal Studios
• Booking Photopass+
• Thinking about ADR’s

There are some restaurants we have to visit again, and a lot of things to do.

Yea! Another October 2013 park goer.

And much of your trip coincides with mine. I'll be there from October 27 through November 3.

Can't wait to read more. :)

LadyBeBop are you also at the SSR?

'fraid not. We're probably staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek, just barely offsite. There is a slight chance we may end up doing DVC, in which case we just may end up at SSR. But the cances are slim.

How often have you been to WDW?:wizard:

Last time was 2010. But the last Disney trip of more than a day was 1993. So it's been a while.

We have the dining plan. Last time I had the ADR's mostly either at 8am or 8pm. 8 am was a bit early as we needed an alarmclock at the days after jetlag. 8pm was okay, but we had to leave parks early :-(.
What would be the best times?

Nees some ideas for Tableservice Restaurants for dinner with not so much fish on the menu.
I'm sure we will do California Grill, Chef Mickey, BoG, Tusker House (lunch), Biergarten or Boma.
Need suggestions for:
Fantasmic dinner package
Downtown Disney
and 3 more as we have 11 credits to spent.

Another Oct 2013 traveller checking in.

Your trip sounds great!

We'll be there earlier than you. I'm booked into the BCV for 2 - 9 October. I haven't stayed at SSR before but it looks nice and I've been following a TR where the Dis-sers are staying at a Treehouse there.

For your TS meals....what type of food do you like to eat?

There is Chefs de France if you like French food; or even Teppen Edo for Japanese. Via Napoli has opened in Italy. I haven't eaten there; but the food looks good.

I like Liberty Tree Tavern at MK as well as Crystal Palace.

DTD - Raglan Road.

I haven't done a Fantasmic! package so I can't help you there.

Are you considering some of the resort restaurants? And what about at the Boardwalk?

You also asked about best times.

I do balance it up against the park closing hours so that I'm not chewing too much time (pun intended) out of the day for eating. I will work out a rough plan for which days are best at which parks depending on the open/close hours; show nights and also if there is EMH offered. That pretty much determines which park I will be in.

After that, I tend to look at TS restaurants in the parks, work out if I want to eat there and book those in.

For the days where I might be at AK, I would be looking at eating at a resort restaurant or at DTD or at the Boardwalk.

Hope this helps.

Did not much the last time, as a lot of unfortune things happened here.
Booked the cruise in the meantime and we get the same stateroom as last year.
Also booked the rental car.
So we take ME from airport to SSR and pick up the car the next day at the car center.
Next week we are going to eqypt for two weeks to relax in the sun. Guess I will have time to make the plans for the days.

While in eqypt I made the plans for the parks and ADRs. Not sure with all but by now it will be:
Tusker House for lunch
Biergarten for lunch
Garden Grill for dinner
1900 Park Fare for dinner
House of Blues Gospel Brunch
T-Rex for dinner
BoG for dinner
Chef Mickey for dinner
California Grill for Dinner
Mama Melrose or Brown Derby for Fantasmic dinner package.

Any suggestions?

Booked our flights from FRA to MCO :banana:

Now I'm going to forward the flight details to ME:woohoo:

Have you tried Ohana's in the Polynesian Resort? They have pork, beef, turkey on skerws and come around to your table to serve you. If you want to see menu's and prices of all the places in WDW and downtown Disney go to www.allears.net
What and where is character warehouse?
Wayne

Yes we have been there last October for breakfast and dinner. Loved it, but want ot try some new restaurants.

Character Warehouse is the Disney outlet store at the premium outlets....or another outlet, I dont remember :-)

Thanks, i will google it and try to find it. Would you like to handle the meet up for the lunch/dinner the day before we go on the cruise? I will do the FE and the dining seating aboard the ship. Is that ok with you?:confused3
