We decided to do it...we're stayin' at the Poly!!!

We were going to stay at the Pop Century before the wedding.....then go to the Poly for our complimentary night and the night after.....and then go back to the Pop (for cost purposes) but we decided HEY....why not just stay at the Poly, this is only going to happen once right?

Looks like I'll be working even more overtime! Hopefully we don't regret it!!

Our first trip to WDW (just in February 2008!) was to the Poly- it was FANTASTIC! We had an amazing time!! Congrats and enjoy!!

Congrats! The poly is so lovely. I've only been to Kona but it's a really nice place...and I hear the breakfast is super yummy. Plus dole whips!!

One thing to note: The only rooms at the Poly that have king beds are the Concierge ones, and the resort has no hot tub (just a heated cove in the theme pool). Sometimes these things matter to honeymooners.

Oh, I don't think you will regret staying at the poly at all!! I have stayed there twice, once being last year with my fiance, and it was amazing both times! The grounds are so relaxing, and the rooms are HUGE! True, there is no hot tub, but honestly, we never missed it. We were prefectly content sitting on the beach with a frosty beverage, watching the castle change colors at night.

Yay, I love the Poly! Since it is for your wedding I would try to get a room with a view of the castle. I would choose a view of the resort over a view of the monorail. I think it would be hard to go wrong with any room at the Poly though! I have never missed the hot tub or the king bed (would be nice but the queens are plenty big). We are happy to just sit on the beach and enjoy the view when we want to relax.

Thanks for all of your responses! I didn't know that there were only Kings on the Concierge level but all well....a bed's a bed I guess!

I looked up almost every photo imaginable for the Poly last night....we're so excited. haha
