I am on hold. New message appeared that no new reservations or modifications today. They will only answer questions. They are busy with the new park pass system.

I can not get into that either.

I was up early for what???

Sheesh no magic ....

I'm just taking my chances and staying on the line, honestly. Hopefully, the new Park Pass system will be available soon and modifications can happen sooner rather than later.

Ya if nothing else I am going to ask WHEN can I modify. Sheesh my dates are 7/16-19. Kinda like to know if they have a room for me or NOT?

I thought the date to modify was the 28th for some reason! So much is going on that I'm getting myself confused it seems. Sorry you got up early for nothing. that's a bummer. :(

Yesterday the website said those with stays in 2020 who were impacted by their resort not planning on opening could call on the 22nd to modify their reservation

I talked to 3 different CMs yesterday who told me to call today. Clearly nobody knows what is going on. Such a mess.

Why in the world would they ever set it up to have the park reservations and trip modifications all start the same day?!?! What were they thinking?? No wonder the site is down!

Oh, I see where I went wrong:

"Want to Book a New Vacation?
By June 28, all Guests will be able to purchase new Disney Resort hotel packages and theme park tickets and make their park reservations for arrivals starting in 2021 as our phased reopening continues."

That's what's happening on the 28th. I misread or mis-remembered or something. Pretty typical for me, really. ;)

We're a week later, but in the same boat! Seriously considering cancelling because we are still outside of our 30 day mark to get the full refund.

This is soo frustrating. We have reservation for the Yacht club in less than a month. We don't even know if we have a resort. I don't understand why in the world they would have everybody for the rest of the year do resort modifications and park tickets on the same day. Why didn't they do July one week, August the next and so on. Of course it is going to overload the system. You can barely make fast passes at 60 days. I just can't believe the people with July reservations are not getting any type of priority. We need to decided if we are going or cancelling. I just am in shock Disney is has no compassion for people with trips coming so soon. They are also sending complete mixed messages. The parks will be different, but so fun, new food and wine. Low crowds, yet they are doing everything possible to get people to cancel. If they only want to open to locals then say so!

Honestly I feel like Disney is doing this on purpose because they know they can't handle the capacity of people currently booked. They need some of us to cancel. The alternative would have been for them to force cancel a set number of reservations and they probably thought that would be less favorable.
