I recorded 3 shows on Disney World that were on Travel Channel this morning so today I will get my disney fix! Watching these shows makes me happy and sad at the same time! Really, I think it's a sickness!!


Heard from my sister last night and, after a few days of Emma getting used to it (aka freaking out on the dark rides), she now loves it! Now that they are leaving...... She was leaving Epcot when I was talking to her and I could hear Emma screaming "NEMO!" in the background. I'm like, "OH take her on Nemo one more time, for god's sake!!"

Just heard from her again now. They are on the road home. She said Emma cried when they told her they were leaving. I'm soooo glad she finally got around to enjoying it. I guess for a 2 year-old, it's very overwhelming at first.

I feel your frustration on the claw machine. Me and DF went through a faze when we used to go to Alton Towers and one trip we came back with bag fulls of soft toys. Its just so addictive.

Nowadays its friggin hard to get a soft toy as the claws just don't put any effort into holding them, so when they do grab a toy its like pff this is too much effort and drops it

Its a shame your sister lost her camera, I hope it didn't ruin her trip too much.

I was so mad I wanted him to see things before we go, because he has never been, I seriously have anxiety that he will not have fun there and Im not sure I can handle that This is make or break relationship stuff

I agree WDW can be pretty overwhelming for kids, crap it is for some adults lol I mean it is sensory overload, but I am glad that Emma had a good time

Yes it was fun! Claw machines are SOOOOO frustrating but sooo fun! It's so addicting! Unless you can get it to close UNDER the toy, there is no way it will just grab it. Or you have to hook it around the neck or foot or something....

Ok let me tell you....Tom was the EXACT same way before our first trip together. I kept trying to get him to watch stuff and he just didn't want to. I think it's just too overwhelming when you don't know what you're looking at.

I was terrified that we would get there and he wouldn't like it and we would have to break up!!

I made sure to have a plan for every day and every night. He basically just did what I planned. (Now when I plan, he definitely has input but since he knows more!) I (obviously) get reeeeally excited about WDW so, once we were there, I had to consciously NOT be in his face about, "Isn't this awesome?! Don't you love it?!" like I wanted to do! But I didn't want to turn him off.

Anyway, 6 trips later and he's totally converted!

Ugh- that is such a bummer about your sister's camera. We had the same thing happen on our trip last year- but we lost it on the LAST DAY!
I think we left it at the bus stop at CBR, but we didn't realize it until we got to Epcot- I was so mad, thought I was going to kill hubby (who of course had been holding it)...thought I was going to have a meltdown- called Lost & Found, hotel, etc, but no luck.
LUCKILY, my 1o year old cousin was on the trip with us, so we got all the pics from her camera. Not nearly as good of shots, but at least it was something. Hopefully your sister has better luck and it gets turned in!

Secondly, some of them might know the chorus at least from the commercials so if I can just have them singing the "It's the time of your life" and "Celebrate you" parts, I could fill the rest with them playing outside or doing group work in the classroom.

Totally perfect, right! I couldn't think of his character's name so I told them, "It's sung by that kid with the curly hair in high school musical!" Haha! They knew immediately who it was and became much more excited about the song. Believe it or not, I don't think any of them knew it.

The song is working out great! I've already started taking some pics and video. At first, they were really weren't so keen on singing...didn't really understand that they're voice wasn't going to be heard! I had one brave girl give me an "Oh oh, Oh oh!" and I put that with the song to show them and now they get it!! So I got some more good footage out on the playground today. Even got so much as a "Celebrate you" and "It's the time of your life" out of a few of them. Can't wait for parents to see it!

I am watching BB from Sunday. I love the Rachel laugh montage they did. We found her laugh annoying and we only saw her a few times a week. Imagine living with that laught 24h a day. It's such a silly girl laugh. Party girl with not that much thoughts in her mind.

If you decide you don't like your new camera, i got a Canon Powershot SX120 IS this christmas and I ABSOLUTLY love it! I can't recomend it enough, takes great pictures and the zoom is fantastic!

We have a friend who owns a comic book store that Tom works at every once in a while. He gets to send a representative to the con so now that Tom's unemployed, he's going to go represent!

Does he have a booth? We hit up most of the comic store booths as Bryan likes to buy comics and I also look for the old Disney comics and buy those. We had a fun trip last year but it was exhausting to take the train in every day from CT!
