We boozed, we grubbed, we got MARRIED! **PRO Pics p. 5**

Congratulations! You are a smart girl! I hated planning my wedding, don't get me wrong, I wouldn't change anything but it was very quickly I realized the 'wedding' had nothing to do with 'being married' and the 'wedding' became about everyone else and not about US!
All the best for a life of love and laughter!
Melinda
*married 14 years in October, second Disney honeymoon in Sept.! Of course we spent our first at Disney!

Thanks Melindaandrob! And congrats to you for making it 14 years!

Oh my, 6 months, eh? Congratulations ! And how long has it been since were were all introduced to your awesome trip report to WDW? Not too much before that.
Again, many blessings of a happy marriage.

Congrats. That was so exciting and romantic. Loved reading the report.

Thanks everyone!

Hermosa, not long -- just 4 months before that! Month 2 we moved in together, month 15 we were engaged, month 21 at WDW, and married at month 24! Still going strong at month 30 with plans for next WDW in month 33. Can't think of a better place to spend months 21 and 33 with someone. :teeth:

:goodvibes

your pics were great, i told my husband how much i liked you dress, i also told him when i divorce him and re marry i want to wear a dress like that, one you can wear more then once, instead of the wedding type dresses-

Thank you! It's funny you say that about wearing the dress again because I just lent it to my best friend for her to wear to a friend's wedding. So already it's getting use again!

Maybe you won't get married again but you can renew your vows and get a sexy dress. Do it at WDW while you're at it. ;)

Congratulations vettechick! Its nice to see how well things have turned out for you. Your reports are always so enjoyable.
It looks like we might be at WDW the same time as you. What are your dates?
We are there 09/30-10/08.

Thanks so much! We'll be there the same time as you pretty much...Oct 2-7 staying at BCV and SSR for one night.

A lot of people seem to be going that week. We might just have to coordinate the 1st Annual WDW Grubbin' & Boozin' Meet.

That is GREAT!!! Love the report.

BTW - my wedding dress came from the mall too. It was a bone colored dress from Younkers. I liked it and that's all that mattered. We got married in Vegas. We got married, had lunch, hot tubbed it in our room, then went to the medevil jousting tournament that night.

I think we'd get along just fine!!

I responded to your 2004 report and felt obliged to do so again!

Not only are we both named Allison, but we both eloped (we went to Vegas, no Elvis didn't marry us, but I did get to wear a denim miniskirt and halter top to my wedding and was back in the pool with a beer 3 hours later), both enjoy beverages around the World, and both are a sucker for that "Up and at 'em" thing.

My husband said, "Up and at 'em" to me in a Mickey voice last week, and I moronically felt the need to blow cash by booking a quick Disney trip for early March. See?

Congrats to you guys! All the best from a southern girl livin' in Boston.

(And I do love your reports. I can't say they make me feel like less of a lush, but at least I know I'm not alone.)

Small world! Two Allison's that eloped, got drunk on their wedding day and love Disney. We are the perfect girl, wouldn't you say. ;)

Thanks for the compliments and I can't wait to hear about your trip when you get home. I have no idea when we'll get back down there, so I'll need to live vicariously through you guys!!

Vettechick - Wow. I just linked into your wedding pics. I'm a regular fan of your trip reports for :drinking1 obvious reasons! ;) Btw, what a beautiful dress and the setting for the wedding was fab!
