feel like vomiting??? I am scared to death!! Not quite sure why but..????
WE booked the cbr for April 15-22nd. I don't know if I am overly excited or what. I really can't believe we are going!:goodvibes I know all (alot) of you have been there over and over, but I guess I never thought I would "really" go!
I think I am going to hyperventilate! whooooooo I feel a little better now. lol

That's Great! my hubby keeps telling me if I do not stop talking about it so much then he is going to cancel the trip. He does not want a plan outside of our ADR so we are going to wing it (I have a secret plan.... HEHEHE)

I felt likee that as well since it is our second tmie going but the first trip was terrible so this will be the first actual trip with no sickness(Keep your fingers crossed no trip to the ER)

lol, have a WONDERFUL time! Do you haev children? If so maybe you should join the knots club (keeper of the secret) we are doing it this year. We have yet to tell the kids we are going on vacation let alone to Disney and we leave in 13 days! We are not tellingt hem until they ask why we are at the airport!

Why do you feel like vomitting? Because....you're excited, you're overwhelmed, you're nervous. But, relax. This is a great place to get all of the information you'll need to plan your trip. It's normal to feel that way. But, it's so much fun to plan a trip to Disney! You obviously have your hotel reservations, now you can look into dining options, tickets, etc. Have fun with it. It will be here before you know it!

Okay..now I found a new reason for feeling sick. I just checked the wdw site and our trip would be almost $500 less than it is through AAA???????? :headache:
I don't get it, how could this be???? I am waiting to here back from are ta, so we'll see.

Anyhoo... we have 2 children a 6yr old girl (she'll be 7 when we go) and a 4 yr old boy. What is the knots club??
And yes, right now we are trying to figure out the whole dining thing. We did not get the plan, but the option to add it is there. We are going crazy trying to figure everything out. I think I might be the post-it queen right now!!!

I think it's great you are so excited! But, take a deep breath and relax! You will be OK. I know it is all so overwhelming but you have us DIS'ers to help you through it! You have a few months to plan and that's so much fun! Just read all the info you can on these boards because it really does help to have all the DIS knowledge when you get there!!

When you checked the rates online did you check room only price, or a package price? You are a AAA member and booked through them? I know a new code for a package came out for that time frame, that could be the reason for the difference. Check out this link to the package info:
http://www.mousesavers.com/packages.html#spring

What type of reservation do you have with AAA?

I picked package and I'm sorry I don't know what you mean about what type of reservation. I just entered the same info on the disney site that we gave aaa. CBR 4/15-4/22. Park hopper.
Yes we are aaa members and booked through them.

Okay....now it gives me a different price???????? What the heck is going on? And I printed it, so I know i didn't make any mistakes !!!

AAA can't use the codes. Different inventory. I would just call CRO(central reservations office) and see what price they give you for your dates, and then ask for the price with the code. When I say what type of reservation I mean if it was a package with tickets and dining, or room and park tickets. Since you said you have the room plus park hoppers then that's what I wanted to know. How many days are the hoppers for? Was the price you saw on the Disney website including the hopper option?

I just checked on disneyworld.com and the price they gave was $2292.40. That was for the dates you stated at CBR with 7 day park hoppers, no insurance, and no dining plan. Now with that new code it would just give you the water park entries and free upgrade to the hopper pass. This might be a good option if you want to go to a water park. Was AAA more than that price?

Also if you add the dining plan that price I told you would go up to $2992.12.

I know I get the same prices too. But 10 minutes ago I got a diff price. I don't know if there site was wacky or not, but I printed the price part that states 7 nights- the date -the resort -and park hopper part and they are both the same with diff prices. Nuts!

I hate using that disney site!LOL It is wacky. Maybe your AAA package includes some extras you are not aware of? How big of a price difference is the disney price to the AAA price?

Ya , special parking..big deal. The difference is over $400.!! They had my dh take our copy out to them, but I doubt it'll make much difference. Oh well, whada ya gonna do?? lol

I'm still trying to figure out what exactly the difference in price could be! Are the park hoppers for the same amount of days? Are the AAA ones the ones that don't expire?

Well our quote from AAA was $2298.80, when my dh came home (he booked) I went to the wdw site and booked (well typed it up) the same exact thing and it came up $1834.28 !!! I copied and printed the part that listed the resort and package total. Then I tried to hit back to copy the whole thing and it said they were experiencing difficulty try later. So I started over and it came up to the same total as AAA ($2298.80). But I do have all the info printed and its all the same info with the different pricing. My dh is out there now, but I don't think it will make any difference.

are you less than 45 days out...if so, it's hard...otherwise cancel with aaa AND book the new rate. As a TA, i would never want my clients to pay an additional $1 -- but $400!!! yuck...

Do you have a view-room rate with AAA and a standard view with the other pricing?

Good luck!

and the price is 2128; 2828 with dining

rooms at the CBR seem to be limited though and you might not be able to apply the code to a CBR room....

the spring rate gives you free park hopper option ($35 value) and free water parks and more option ($50) value.

good luck sorting things out!! You'll have a great vacation no matter what!!;)
