We are a family of 5 - 2 adults, 3 kids and we just returned from a week in WDW on the free dining plan. We did use every credit (although for the last 2 CS we got lunches to take for the plane ride home). We definitely loved trying out the DDP but feel it was way too much food and we would most likely not buy it on a future trip - especially since our oldest will be 10 by the next time we go. We used some of our CS credits for breakfasts in the resort food court, a couple of breakfasts in the parks, one lunch at Earl of Sandwich, one at Tusker House and a couple for later suppers at the food court. We used our TS credits for dinner at WCC, a late lunch at LeCellier, dinner at LTT, breakfasts at Chef Mickey's and Donald's, dinner at Beaches & Cream and another late lunch at the SciFi. We used a few CS credits at the Main St. bakery for breakfast. We used many snack credits on sodas or waters and ice cream bars, but we did try a few new things - especially the CC cookie/vanilla ice cream sandwich from the Main St bakery and a Dole Whip. Some of the credits I feel we got the best use out of were: the rotissere chicken at Tusker House which my husband and I shared for lunch - 1 CS; LeCellier where my husband had the NY strip steak and proclaimed it the best steak he's ever had; the ice cream sandwich, which was huge for 1 S; 2 bakery items and 1 drink at the Main St bakery - the cinnamon rolls were awesome for 1 CS; and Beaches and Cream where all 5 of use were able to get appetizers, entrees, drinks and desserts. I'm glad we tried the DDP and would very likely do it again if offered for free. We tried out a few new restaurants - WCC, LeCellier, Donald's, Tusker House and SciFi and returned to a few old favorites - Earl of Sandwich, LTT, Chef Mickey's and Beaches and Cream. It was a great feeling to just hand over our card after anything we ate and get a receipt back for $0. We totaled our receipts and figure we ate about $1150 worth of food. Any questions - feel free to ask. I'll try my best to answer them.
