hello everyone. Just back Monday night from 6 days on the deluxe dining plan...and boy oh boy was that a ton of food! I decided to upgrade to deluxe because we had 3 meals that were 2 tableservice credits and I knew I would be buying the refillible mugs, so I figured I would more than get my moneys worth. Plus there was just so many places we wanted to try.

We are not regular Disney visitors, the last time we went was 6 years ago and the only places we ate in Disney were at Nine Dragons and the mexican counter service. Most of our meals were outside of Disney.

Let me tell you....I was teased horrendously by family, friends and co workers prior to my trip about my Dis boards obsession and most especially to my new food porn addiction....lol....was I going to Disney to play or just to eat??? LOL

I so loved all the help I recieved from the boards and loved the reviews...I knew just what I wanted to order at each restaurant, thanx to the reviews!

So Of course I have to repay the favor....now I didnt take too many pics...I started to on the first couple of days, but then I would forget and then were just plain sick of food...shocking I know, lol!!!

So...because we had the deluxe plan there are lots of places that we ate:

Day 1:
CRT-lunch
Raglan Road-dinner
Day 2:
Coral Reef-lunch
Narcosses-dinner
Day 3:
Kona Cafe-breakfast
Liberty Tree Tavern-lunch
Whispering Canyon-dinner
Day 4:
Sci Fi-lunch
Big River Grill-dinner
Day 5:
Tusker house-Bkfst
Teppen Edo-late lunch
Hoop Dee Doo-late dinner
Day 6:
Le Celliler-lunch
counter service dinner
Day 7:
Wolfgang Puck Express-breakfast

There were 4 of us...me (41) (goofy-my fav character of course), my DS (20)(Mickey-because he truly thinks he is the big cheese), My DD (17)(tinkerbell-kinda moody and extremely picky), and my DS(11) (Stitch-his fav character)

I wanted to introduce us and I will start on my reviews a little later....gotta get a little bit of work done!

Im trying to figure out how to add pictures....still new here to posting on the boards.

Today we had to get up at 4 am to get to the airport for our flight. We were due in to Orlando at 11 am.

My first ressie was for CRT at 2:20 pm...I was so excited to get this. I thought the timing was right to coincide with our arrival and how perfect to eat in the Castle as a welcoming meal!

We arrived at the castle at 1:45, early I know, but we were starving!!! They told us we could not check in until 10 minutes prior to our ADR. So we came back at 2 pm and were let right in. There was only maybe 2 families in front of us for the picture w/Cinderella. In fact they called our name to be seated before we even finished our picture.

I LOVED walking up the stairwell to the dining room, so pretty. I was slightly disapointed when we got to our table, I guess I thought it would be fancier? The tables were nothing special at all. We were waited on right away, and we ordered our meals. They brought our drinks, I got an iced tea and the kids all got sprites.

They also brought our appetizer plates at the same time, which included 2 plates to share of grapes, bruchetta, cheese, some sort of small salad with olives and relish. It was pretty good. Then out came our meals. Both myself and mickey got the major domo pie, it looked so good. We did take pictures, so hopefully I will have them up soon. Stitch got the salmon and tinerkbell wasnt happy with any of the choices (of course) so she asked for the kids chicken nugget meal.

The food was pretty good, not excellant, but good. We ate almost all of it! For dessert there were 3 choices...the chocolate cream cheese buckle-which I chose, a fruit sorbet something or other, and an ice cream sundae, which all 3 kids chose. The desserts were really good, I especially liked the cream cheese middle...yum!

We were soooo full, but couldnt wait to leave the castle so we could start our Disney adventures.....but there was a problem....

We got our bill/reciept and they charged me for 12 ts meals!!! WHAT???? This is where I have to say thank you again to all you Dissers for the posts on these boards! I knew to actually really look at this number and make sure it was done right. I questioned it, and the waiter explained that he accidentally switched tickets w/another table but that it was all taken care of. I was like....ummm ok thats great, but can I get a corrected receipt? He said ok, but it will take a few more minutes. Fine no problem this was our first meal on our first dining plan adventure...yea I want it all to be right! So after what seemed like FOREVER, he did bring us out the corrected receipt and he also brought us out a special fast pass for anything in the park! I thought this was really nice.

Would I eat here again?

Ummm no. It was great to try once, but in my opinion not worth the cost. Of course if someday I have a granddaughter who loved the princesses then of course I would indulge again.

On a side note.....that night mickey and I were up w/stomach cramps every 2 hours and in the restroom all night long and this meal is the only meal that both Mickey and I ate the same thing???

Coming next.....dinner Raglan Road.

I knew that Magic Kingdom would be closing early for the party today, so in making my ADR's I had no idea what to do for the first night. I decided a trip to DTD would be a nice low key first night activity so I looked at the menus for the restaurants there and honestly nothing stood out for me...at least for the restaurants that are included in the dining plan. So I decided to go w/Raglan Road though I had recently read a bad review....it was the entertainment that moved this one into the lead.

When we actually got to Disney, I told the kids that I had reservations at Raglans but Im not sure that there would be anyting on the menu they would like, so that if they would rather just eat at our hotel (POR) or one of the counter svc's at DTD that would be fine w/me. They opted to go ahead and try Raglan's....especially because we were really thirsty and really hot and just wanted some a/c and lots of drinks!

For appetizers we had the calamari and the ribs....great start we finished those off fast...well at least the calamari..the ribs were sweet and sticky, good, but messy.

For dinner myself and tinkerbell chose the its not bleeding chowder.....I think we died and went to heaven....absolutely DELISH!!!!

Mickey chose the Meatballs a la Liffey Luv and stitch chose the Kevin's Ham, they both really really liked their meals.

We were all moaning during our dinner it was sooo good, and we all took bites of each others.....this meal was sooooo much better than our lunch had been, by a mile long!!

We went ahead w/dessert even though we were soooo full that we couldnt even finish our meals. We though why not its included, lets at least take a couple of bites...

I chose the bread pudding...the best Ive ever had...the others chose the chocolate cake and some sort of berry tart that I hadnt seen on the all ears menus...they were good as well....

We basically waddled out of the restaurant! We were exhausted by this point, since we had been up since 4 am and it was now around 9 pm...but we walked around some of some of the shops just to help digest this heavy heavy meal.

This was our favorite restaurant/meal for almost our whole trip....one place did top this one, but just barely and that was on our last day!

I know its gotten some bad reviews, but it must have been an off night. Definetly recommend giving this restaurant a try. We will be visiting it again next time....in fact the kids asked to go back here every day!

Glad you enjoyed Raglan Road ... it's always been a good bet for us and we love the entertainment in the evenings.

Forgot to mention, because of where we were sitting we never actually saw the entertainment, but we did hear it and it sounded great....it didnt matter anyway because the terrific food kept our attention!

We went on the Mickey Milestones tour this morning and it ended up running a little late, which put us behind for our adr at Coral Reef....I panicked a little, but thought ok, it doesnt matter, we are here to have a good time and thats what we will do, if they wont take us I will not get upset...we will just eat counter service or F&W. Well my older 2 didnt want to do the tour so they went ahead to epcot and when we were running late they let the restaurant know and they were great about it. They said just to check in when they got there and they would hold it for us...wow, totally not what I was expecting during free dining. Our ADR was for 11:55, the tour finished at Magic Kingdom at 11:30...yikes...and the monorail wasnt running...double yikes! So we were really cutting things close...we jumped a bus to pop, it happened to be there waiting, got off and the bus to Epcot was there waiting...what luck!!!

We made it at about 12:20 I believe and they sat us immediately. Mickey and I both ordered the steak-yummy! Stitch had the Mahi Mahi which he declared as his new favorite seafood meal. Tinkerbell had the chicken caeser salad, she was not impressed...it came w/2 lettuce wedges, so she had to do alot of preparing and she didnt end up eating much of it. For appetizers we had the lobster bisque, crab cake, and I know there was something else, but I cant remember and it isnt on the all ears menu....also that menu is different than the one we were given. I was going to try to blackened catfish, but it wasnt on the menu.

For dessert we had the chocolate wave...very yummy, the Jack Daniels mousse, and the cheescake. All were super delicious. This was a nice meal, and it took us about 1 hour maybe a few minutes more, but not bad at all. This restaurant was pretty full. We were on the top tier, had a really nice booth and a great view of the water and sea life.

We all really enjoyed this meal and voted this as our 3rd best meal of the week!

I really wish I could figure out pictures...our meals were so pretty! Especially the way the desserts are presented. I love how every restaurant told us not to eat the mickey head that came w/the dessert, because it was really hard, they described it as unedible.
