We are wasting valuable time!!!!

I have read a lot on these boards lately people bashing Obama and bashing McCain, Palin and other politicians. I voted for Obama because I believe change is in order. Originally I was voting for McCain because stability especially concerning the military is important. When McCain chose Gov. Palin, all I could imagine was her with that smug, nasty attitude making some crazy dictator with a bunch of weapons bomb this country again! The choice was not easy for me and I always feel I am choosing the lesser of two evils. With that being said now that we have chosen a POTUS, we are wasting time arguing and attacking one another. Now is the time to pray for all of our leaders!! I just believe what my bible says about the prayers of the righteous availeth much. I think if all of us christians and otherwise would spend our time praying and crying out to God for our country then he will indeed heal our land. Now I know I am going to be attacked for this but keep in mind I am an American just like all Americans and I want us all to be okay! Please people let's not waste time! We need to pray like never before! God Bless.

No matter what anyone else may say, I admire your faith. I agree that prayer is a valuable tool.

I agree that everyone of any faith should be praying for our country. I also believe that we must ALL work hard to repair the damage done by war, poverty, anger and whatever else has damaged our great country. Prayer works but it's not going to be enough. Old fashioned hard, nose to the grindstone teamwork is necessary.
