we are using disney buses... help!!!

We just booked an unplanned trip to disney for late August. We are using the magical express so we will be using the buses all around the parks. Usually we rent a car but am not this time. We are staying at the POP. We will be visiting MK,EPCOT,AK,MGM,DTD,Grand FLoridan and the Polynesian Hotels. Is this going to be really difficult to do. We are there for 8 nights so every day we will be visiting one of these parks per day and the 2 other hotels for dinner. Is it hard to get around. Any tips or help will be appreciated. Thanks

in all our trips to wdw we have never had a car. we did not find it difficult getting around. for your dinners at resorts, just be sure to plan in enough travel time. we usually just go to a park and then travel on that resort bus. to return, usually back to DTD and our resort bus. there is always the option of a taxi which is what we would do if dining at victoria and albert at GF.

Try to have dinner at one of those hotels after visiting the MK. You'll be able to just ride the monorail over. Then, catch a bus to DTD after dinner and switch there to go back to Pop Century.

Why go to DTD after dinner to get a resort bus? Why not just take the monorail back to MK and take the resort bus from there? A short monorail ride followed by the "normal" bus ride has to be quicker than riding two buses, dontcha think???

I agree with CleveRocks. Why bother with DTD unless the MK is closesd. Even then, the buses will keep running for something like 1-2 hours after closing to clear everyone out. DTD would be my last option. If it was really late I would simply hop in a taxi. They are always available outside all the WDW resorts. Fast and pretty reasonable.

This will be our 8th trip to Disney and we have always used Disney transporation. Never had a rental car and never had a problem. Their system is wonderful and to us, part of the vacation is not having to worry about getting around on our own. Using Disney transportation will provide you with a relaxing and worry free vacation!

In 12 years of yearly WDW trips, we have NEVER had a rental car. That's what Disney transportation is for. It's part of the magic to just sit back and let them take care of everything for you. Don't worry. It's not a big deal.
