We Are the World Debut!!!!

I must be old I didnt know most of those people in the video...except like Tony Bennet..lol

And Jeff Bridges and Vince Vaughn singing? :rotfl:

just saw it, and it was pretty impressive. i'm very glad they put michael jackson in it.

Yeah, LOL that Jeff Bridges was there. Neat that they hip hopped itup abit.

It was good-made me feel old (even though I was 2 when the original came out. Hey, it's my story and I'm stickin w/it!!:lmao:). Very nice to have Michael Jackson in it.

It gave me chills! It was soulful, that's what got me!:goodvibes It was strong!

Meh...I was less than impressed. I loved the original. I loved the video of the hopeful Haitians, but didn't really enjoy the remix.

Eh, It was alright...from what I had seen I actually was not that impressed with who was in it..

Justin Bieber....really?

Sorry but when you had Bob Dylan, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson in the original and now the first person I hear is Justin Bieber sort of turned me off.

I did like how they hip hopped it up that was cool, but really couldn't see all of them it went very fast. It was really cool to see Michael and Janet, I liked that very much, nice homage to him

Vince Vaughn and Jeff Bridges were amusing, but remember they had Dan Akroid in the original as well.

We'll see when they show the entire video tomorrow afternoon.

I feel the same way. I did not hate it it just was not what I was expecting.

Eh, it was fine. Kinda hard to say we're 'together' when it seems as though everyone hates each other.

And justin bieber...YUCK!

Thank you.

I came in a little late and saw Big Lebowski, Santa Claus, Tony Bennet and Michael Jackson and was a little like :confused3 WTH, what is this? :rotfl2:

Well, I for one was not very impressed with it. I admit I really liked the first one and this one just kind of lost me. My friend who was here watching too was not impressed either.

I wasn't that impressed either. Out of all the singers that volunteered to song, they had to pick Justin Whats His Name? Please!

And what was up with the speed of the song when Janet was "singing" with Michael. It looked like she was singing a different song. LOL

Loved it. :thumbsup2 I still have my sweatshirt(USA for Africa)from the last one!:goodvibes

Okay. So I just watched the full version and I enjoyed it more than the little clip we were given last night. I liked seeing all of the performers, although I thought the Michael and Janet split screen was a bit hokey. I like the "hip hop" but could have done without Justin Bieber. I guess they felt like they needed someone to make the 9 year old girls listen?

What??? People liked it? It was AWFUL. Tragically, depressingly, ridiculously awful. The singers were off the beat the entire time, the auto-tuned voices, the RAPPING, the hip hop, that stupid kid in the begginning. That one weird guy screaming in it. The producers need to be shot.

It was an embarassmet.
