We finally decided that we will definately take a cruise. That means I have tons of questions. Please help! We have booked an inside stateroom. Was this a mistake? I don't think we will spend much time in the room. The only concern I have is not being able to see what is going on outside. If we do not have a passport would you advise us to get one? How much money do you usually take? What excursions can we take with a 4 & 5 year old? When can we reserve a meal at Palo's? What do you for the kids meal on that night? Room service? Sit with them during their dinner? Can they eat at the kids club? I have asked that we have a private table and the ressie person advised that we sit with someone else to socialize. I am not big on socializing on vacation. Is the private table guranteed? Do you find you experienced more on your vacation by meeting the people that you eat with? I know this is a ton of questions and I am sure that I will have more. Thanks for your help!

Space on the ship is a premium, hence the need to share tables when dining. I'm a big time introvert but, in 2 cruises, usually managed to get along and, in fact, enjoy my tablemates. A private table is not guaranteed.

You can reserve a meal at Palo on embarkation day unless you buy the Romantic Escape at Sea package which enables you to reserve in advance.

A passport is not necessary, though I use mine since I have one already.

I'd rather be in an inside room than not on the ship at all. :D

Enjoy your cruise.
