Oct 9 - 19th. Staying a couple of days at the Yacht Club, then the Polly and then the Grand Floridian. (We havent done any kind of vacation since covid, so this is a bit of a splurge for us. PLUS, we are not 100% confident about going to the busy busy parks, so we figure staying at the deluxe resorts will keep my kids happy either way.).

But, my question is I understand 60 days out for dinning reservations. IF i was staying at one resort for 10 days then would I have been able to schedule all of my dining days on the first available day before 60? Now that I have chopped things up I have to wait to make a reservation for the other days?

My big issue is that I am a bit nervous about Covid and my originally game plan was to make reservations for the first available times for the dinning. Example, Ohana starts dinner at 3:30, so I would try and pick 3:30 with the idea that it will not have as many people (before / during and after me) as it would be if I went there at 7pm. BUT, now with my chopped up resort schedule, forget about getting the exact time I was hoping for, just getting the restaurant itself would be difficult?!!!?!?

I am going to call Disney tonight to see what they say, but I assume I am just out of luck.

Any ideas or thoughts?

Yes, unfortunately each check-in of a split stay resets the dining clock. How many days are you staying at each resort?

Yacht Club Oct 9 - 13
Poly Oct 13 - 17
Grand Floridian 17 - 19

I thought (or hoped) I would be able to get the times I wanted toward the end of our stay. We are looking to take advantage of the Food and Wine Festival too in the beginning.

You still have a good amount of days at YC and Poly. I’d try planning the harder ADRs for Oct 11-13 and 15-17. People change their plans a lot too so we bookmark the pages and keep checking for places/times that weren’t first available.

We recently made 6 days of ADRs and I thought Cinderella’s In the castle would be the hardest. Found a decent amount of openings there on different days. What actually gave us the most trouble was Yak & Yeti in AK 😆. Didn’t expect that.

Not sure if you’re planning Sci-Fi but I noticed it prioritizes parties of 6 (guess because the cars seat that many). Couldn’t find 2 or 4 but then many for 6ppl.

It is odd they don’t let consecutive split stays have the window, maybe the system can’t handle it. Goodluck! That’s a lovely trip.
:tink:Have a fantastic stay!

At one time consecutive stays allowed making adrs for the entire split stay. That was eliminated a few years ago. Now each stay has its own dining window and they cannot be merged. Sorry

I do a lot of split stays. I typically get what I want. You will need to be willing to be flexible with your times. Good luck!
