We are staying at CSR and thinking of requesting....

the Cabanas section. It doesn't seem like any of the buildings are in a bad location.

we were thinking of the Casitas too....they are so pretty....

any suggestions.

We stayed in Casitas 4 (lagoon view). I can't speak for any of the other areas.
It was a short walk to the central area, close to one of the bus stops and not far from the pool.
It was nice and we liked it. But if I stayed there again I might be more tempted to try the area off to the right of the main lobby area.
When we were there, I was getting the impression that was the area they were lodging the convetion people.
I would either stay in that area (although the theming I liked the least) or by the main pool.
Casitas 3 was very pretty too, with the fountains and all.
Except the area opposite the main area (across the lagoon) I don't think you could do bad.

We have stay in both sections and they are equally as nice. It all depends on what you want to be closest too, if that is a concern. The cabanas are closest to the Dis Site and some of the casitas are closest to the main building. Check out the map at my site below.

The cabanas are a great location.....they are convenient to everything. There are 4 building sections. One is close to El Centro, another is right by the dig site, and the other two are in between....convenient to both. We were in the building near the dig site facing the Ranchos...it was very nice and quiet!

Enjoy CSR, its a wonderful place. Don't miss the breakfast buffet at the Maya Grill!
