My eyes with my camrea always appear gold; and red eye and pet eye will not correct...the stange thing is I have brown eyes not blue...most people with blue eyes have this problem...

and I could have slapped Danny for not telling me I had white powder on my shirt...I went all night with that...I did not notice it until I was playing with the camera...

First things first-----I am sooooo glad Ashton is better.

Second-------What a GREAT picture of you and Danny. He is another one of those Southern boys that clean up well . I love your hair. You and Danny are a very handsome couple.

Third------When I read about ya'll coloring Nativity pictures it reminded me of Dallas and our first year homeschooling. We had been studying the Christmas story and Dallas had just learned about Mary. I had a night light of the Virgin Mary in my kitchen and one night I told Amanda to turn it on. Amanda asked Dallas if he knew who Mary was he said yes. Amanda said something about her being Joseph's wife and Dallas says "NO Amanda, she is Mrs. God because she is Jesus' mother." I didn't know what to say at that .

Ashton and I are just taking a very quiet day!!! we had a very busy weekend...we went to Bass Pro to have his picture done with Santa. We went with our neighbors so we spent the entire evening in the funky weather on the road...we went eat after our Santa experience, and Robin & I went through the mall to pick up Dayne and her oldest son's gifts...I lucked out and a mall kioisk had the calender Gwendolyn wanted. We walked through Sam's than Walmart...we finally made it home with two very tired babies around 11:00. Yesterday, we went on the hunt for a tree! we went in the morning before the game ...WE HAD TO BE HOME FOR THE SAINTS GAME...NO FRESH TREES IN COVINGTON (I refuse to pay over $50 for a tree I will be putting out in a few weeks). I had an artifical tree for years; but, Danny always wants a real tree. But, I believe we will be buying a new artifical tree tonight!


The weather has been so nasty and dreary here...Ashton & I are still hanging on to this cold...its miserable...

I have been doing some internet christmas shopping today and last night...I have ordered our parents catheral winchimes 72" in length. All Ashton's friends are getting an alphabet writer by Vtech (the web site had them for $9.99--I was ordering the Leapfrog version for $21.99). This weekend Danny and I will go shopping for Ashton's gift...I started on Dayne and Gwendolyn, still need something for Joe...need to figure it out and finish it off this week!!The gift part is easy for me my problem today is the tree!

I have so many TR/PTR's to catch up on...I will get to it...but, I need to stop again to go swap the wash and find a place for the tree...

Hi, Connie. I was missing in action all weekend (Mark feel twice, we went to Dubuque to watch Markie wrestle and to dinner at PF Chang's yesterday). I LOVE the pictures--they are great.

Busy girl! You've got a lot going on. An artificial tree may not be as pretty, but it sure will help if you've got allergies. I hear the real trees have some kind of mold that some people are highly allergic, too. And it's there next year when you need it! You don't have to water it, either.

Mine is prelit, so I don't even have to mess with lights and untangling them or anything. I love it!

It has been raining here since last night and will continue to rain until tomorrow night ...now we started with the fog last night and it has not lifted at all today!

I hope Mark is OK! he needs to take care of himself...how is his pain levels --not related to the falls?!?

Good afternoon Connie. I did my last post from my cell phone and my options are hard to read. Very tiny screen. I need at least a 15 inchh one and then the glasses.

I truly did love the pic of you and Danny. You make a fine looking couple. I bet you had fun out Sat night with your friend. That was nice for you and Ashton to have a getaway evening.

I wish you could get over your colds tho. Christmas is coming you know I think on my calendar it is a week from Friday.

I have friends that don't put their tree up till Christmas Eve. They sure don't have time to enjoy it. I have done artificial since we moved to this house. It really is so much easier. At our old house we had a field behind us that a man ran cattle on and he told Don to just go cut what was there for firewood. Which he did but he saved the pines and firs for Christmas. So for many years we would get a free one. It was nice.

Danny just called to say that he found a tree on the southshore!!!
said it was funny another guy from the northshore walked up with him and the trees were still all wrapped...Danny cut out two trees both of the men held each a tree...the guy looked at Danny and said you pick and I'm taking the other one...he said he picked ours and he and the guy walked out with each their trees...

Now, I need to think about how I'm decorating it this year...I have three themes in the attic...may just go easy and simple...ribbons, bows, and poinsettias...along with a surprise! we'll see...

lots to do...and busy day tomorrow...so I will talk more later!

Hello! everyone
I hope you are all having a wonderful day! Today was library day!!! they had a small christmas party for the children...it was very nice...I keep bringing my camera but keep forgetting to take pictures. I took them eat at Cracker Barrel afterwards, was going to take them to see The Princess and the Frog and decided to save it for another day. Ashton wanted to come home...it is now quite time...afterwards I'm going to see about decorating the tree...they are so cute they just love the fact of the tree!!! so, I can't wait to see what they think when it is decorated.
