I'm so geeked up to see The Christmas Carol movie. We're taking the girls this weekend. Joe had to work last weekend and didnt' want us to go with out him. You and Becky both said it's great so I'm even more excited!

I think I am going to take Dallas to see the movie Monday for a field trip. I love taking him to the movies. We get the big bucket of popcorn and two cokes and have a blast.

Glad to hear that the movie was good. John's been wanting to go see it every since he saw the preview before another movie we saw.

Since Hunter is staying with my mother this weekend while we go to Hot Springs, we are paying for the two of them to go to the movies. They can't decide if they want to see Christmas Carol or Area whatever it is. (can't remember the name)

We went to see "A Christmas Carol" in 3D!!! Hammond decided to show it in 3D!!! we were the first ones to see a 3D movie in the Hammond theatre (the guy there was soooo excitied -- he had to let us know we were the first ones; along with three other people)!! Ashton really enjoyed the movie there were a few scenes that scared him but, he did very well! (Marley the ghost and the ghost of Chrismtas' yet to be--were scary). The previews showed the new "Alice" movie in 3D with great graphics I hope that one comes out in 3D it is going to be awesome...need to find someone to go see it with

Yes, Leanne, April, and Lisa...Ashton and I really enjoyed "Christmas Carol"...
April wish we were closer so I could take you up on Alice! I love Johnnie Depp he is such a chameleon (one of the best character actors out there--his personailty changes for each movie you never ever see a past character in a new movie).

The weather here is suppose to be beautiful through the weekend! it is a beauty today; so, we are going to go out for about an hour after Dora is over. I just put it on for them they have been playing with blocks and Diego all morning! I went take a shower and came out they were so cute playing "Trick or Treating" with buckets and toys


P.S. Leanne I hope thanksgiving was good! (at work-just read your comment on FB from last night)! Danny brought home mirlitons last night and asked if I could cook them...sure I say...but do I eat them ...so on the hunt for a cassarole receipe DSIL used two years ago; she thinks its the one by Emeril...may have to spice it up a bit!

another name for them I just learned is, chayote squash, all the receipes mention that you can use a green pumpkin or anytype of squash. I do not really care for it...except the receipe that my DSIL used a few Christmas' ago...I really hope I found the correct one! If you like squash in a casserole you would like this! and I'm sure you enjoy the receipe I hope to have found.

I will have to check it out then. It would be something we would eat. We love squash and pumpkin of course.

Don and I have been sitting here watching pink panther 2 and the dvd player quit working. Sheri is going to look for the Toy Story 2 tomorrow. If she can't find it I am going to borrow Sandis and copy it when we go over at Thanksgiving. I haven't forgotten. I just work slow.

We had a good day. Pedicures/manicures lunch at Panera. It was mid 70 here today. Rain starts tomorrow. Have a great day.

Hi Connie! The meal at work was fabulous. I think it was the best one we've had in the 4.5 years I've been there. How did the casserole turn out?

I love squash casserole. My grandmother used to make especially for me when she knew I'd be coming to visit her. I have a quick and easy recipe for those who don't want to take the time to cut up the squash and cook it. This is my "quick" recipe, though I prefer to have fresh squash. Don took 40 pair of Levi's, 45 pairs of shoes (all mine), 10 dress outfits and 10 purses to goodwill. I'm thinking the closet needed a cleaning a long time ago. It was all my clothes too. I don't touch Don's.

Today is Dr.'s birthday so we get a good lunch. A drug rep came in and he's even buying and stopped and got him a coconut pie. I'm way excited.

Give my main Peter Pan a big hug and kiss for me and have a great day.

haven't made the casserole...made the mash and froze (that is what my SIL told me to do in order to ensure they did not go bad before TG) so I will be making the casserole Wednesday...

we had a beautiful morning--so, we went to the park for about three hours. It is currently about to storm outside and since Ashton woke up at 4am you would think he would be napping now...but, noooooooo he is cranky and whining all over the sofa!

I did the closet cleaning a couple of weeks ago, boy do I hate cleaning out closets. I need some party food ideas for my family get together. If anyboby has some please let me know.

Hi Connie! Hope Ashton's mood improved. I really dislike it when Josie's whiny. She still needs a nap everyday. When she doesn't get it....UGGGHHHH. I hope she grows up a little between now and next August. All day Kindergarten starts then and they only get a 20 minute "rest". She needs at least an hour or longer right now. It was an accumulation from me, Sandi and Sheri. For some reason they still think they live at home and give me the stuff they don't want. The shoes were all mine. Several pair had hardly been worn and some a lot. I really like shoes.

I found a cruise I really like. It is actually the end of January. I'm ready for it. I just have to convince Don to go that early.
