:welcome: over Kathy!!! there would be no way I could possibly guess which resort you think we should visit :confused3 not CSR, by chance:rotfl:

I am really down to CSR and CBR! and Danny is still on POFQ!! :confused3 we may end up putting them in a hat and pulling :rotfl2:

and now April has me really wanting to do AKL! so I'm kinda thinking of pricing out a split stay; although that sounds like a pain to me:confused:

Good morning! Ginny it is a beautiful day here...we are suppose to be back in the 80's by the middle of the week:eek: our allergies are going through the gambit! Danny's humeria has the side effect of a sinus infection and the weather changes certainly do not help!!! the plants, grass, and trees don't know what to do when the weather does this:confused3

I stayed up with Danny this morning 4 am :scared1: cleaned the kitchen, shopped on the internet (but did not buy a thing), did three batches of laundry--still need to fold and put away:rolleyes1, surfed FB and the dis several times ...oh! and I made pumpkin pillows (my grandmother use to make a type of cookie with pumpkin filling and bisquick and call them pillows:confused3) haven't made them in about 13 yrs... just decided over the weekend I wanted some:upsidedow probably cause I said we were going on diets!!!!:lmao:

hope you enjoy this beauty of a day!! glad to hear no snow in your area yet!!

Wishing everyone a wonderful Day!!!

Pumpkin pillows sound delish. Sheri makes a pumpkin cookie that has caramel icing on then. Too good. You must send me that recipe. We love anything with pumpkin. Don made pumpkin bread with dried cranberries last week. It was pretty tasty. He left out nuts cause Aust won't eat nuts. We mostly will just eat pecans and english walnuts in baked items. Mike goes to Texas every year to his aunt's home and gathers pecans. They sure grow them big in Texas.

That pineapple uspide down cake was heaven last nite. Now no more baking till Friday. I'm going to make homemade cinnamon rolls. I'm off all day.

Morning all!

Connie, tell Danny to just throw Port Orleans out of the mix. You guys are from Louisiana for Pete's sake. You want to see something different than you'd see around your own (or nearby) town.;)

I'd still go for either CBR or CSR. If it's just you, Danny and Austin, then I'd say CBR. Mostly because of the Nemo and pirate stuff.

You've gotten a lot accomplished already! I don't mind washing, drying and folding clothes. I just hate putting them up. Don't know why, I just do.

The sun is shining here. It's supposed to get to 70 by 2:00 p.m. When I got up this morning, it was 42. I think the weather channel said we'd have pretty weather until Thursday. You know Louisiana weather, though. The forecast could change by this afternoon.

Have a good one,

Lisa

Be glad you don't live in MO. It's if you don't like the weather just wait 30 min. and it will change.

Ginny, you are not going to believe this but it is soooo easy....
pumpkin (I use the can), season like you would for pie--I use pumpkin pie spice--about a tsp, a touch of sugar--about a tbsp (sometimes an egg), I follow the reciepe for the biscuits on the bisquick box...roll out cut our 2X2 squares place a tbsp of the filling in the middle fold up and bake at 450* for 8 min or unitl golden...I normally sprinkle sugar on top before baking

this was a learned reciepe done by site nothing was ever written down... so however you like your pumpkin pie filling that is how I would season.... :upsidedow

Lisa-I don't mind washing and putting away I HATE TO FOLD!!! they could stay sorted in the baskets as far as I'm concerned...but, than we would all be wrinkled...or I would have to iron

We went to eat seafood tonight ;ymmmm!(didn't have to worry about the older kids--Ashton slept through the entire meal; woke up as we were leaving--so we had to stop and pick up something for him) we went to the new Target while walking around I asked Ashton what did he want to dress as for Halloween (thought I had found a robe for Sorcerrer (sp) Mickey no luck! )...ready for this answer

Ashton Martin :rotfl2: too cute!!

Gwendolyn has been texting all night...
she has decided she loves us after all  Joe's brother (who is her age is driving her nuts), Joe's sister and boyfriend became engaged last night (which Gwendolyn thinks was tacky that he did it on the weekend of her brother's wedding). She said she is not comfortable around his family at all--she does not like their ways :confused3
and here she thought she did not like being around us :lmao:

Night all! have a wonderful weekend...
stay warm Ginny!!!
:wave2:

Too funny! It seems like the most logical answer for a three year old boy, huh? :rotfl:

Yeah, I agree with Gwendolyn. It is tacky to get engaged while someone else is having a wedding. Its almost like raining on their parade. I heard a story once about a couple who got engaged at someone else's rehearsal dinner. I'm not sure if that was on Bridezillas or something like that, but that is just WRONG.

Your story about Ashton wanting to be Ashton reminds me of a Halloween when Tyler was about 3. Amanda wanted to be Raggedy Ann and Tyler said he wanted to be a bunny. I bought all the stuff and got them ready, putting on the makeup and the costumes. Amanda was too happy. She thought it was funny how she looked like a doll. When I put Tyler in front of the mirror he started crying and screaming to the top of his lungs............................."GET THIS BUNNY OFFIN MINE FACE". I almost wet my pants. I don't mean to sound cruel, but it was the funniest thing to me that he actually thought he was turning into a bunny.

Ok enough about how bad a Mother I am. Boy, could I tell some stories about Tyler.............:lmao:.
That is soooo hi-lar-i-ous! :rotfl2:

Yay, good plans for you. That is so exciting that now Danny is on board. I hear what you are saying about Gwendolyn.

Now that Don says he is going to retire next December I know no vacay for us. So that means we can't meet at FWB. I'm taking the money I was spending and getting his work shop done. It has to be done before he is done working or he will be bored stiff and I would never retire. We know that's not going to happen.

I'm making meat loaf for dinner and fresh homemade rolls. They are smelling delish.

I'll try to catch you later.

Give my Peter Pan a late day hug and kiss.

Ginny
I'm with Ginny - yay! You've got your plans!

And, like Lisa said, it's a shame you had to tell them about Richard Petty, but sometimes you gotta reveal your secrets to make things happen. It worked! :thumbsup2

Ginny: That meatloaf and homemade bread sounds absolutely wonderful. Has my mouth watering!!!

Hello! Mel,
yeah! I guess it is the logic of a three yr old...we spend all this time teaching him who he is and than turn around and ask who do you want to be :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Hope your day is going smoothly...

OMG- PLEASE give me the pumpkin pillows recipe!!! They sound awesome. Whoa-up at 4am AND you have the energy to do all of that?!?!? The only thing I am capable of at 4am is rolling over in bed. :rotfl: I am supposed to be on a diet- I am the heaviest I have ever been. I love to run & used to go to the gym, but my gym started to get WAY too crowded (lines of people waiting for treadmills) & I stopped going because I didn't have the time to stand around & wait. I really want a treadmill for my house- but it looks like that won't happen with all of my car issues lately. A good treadmill is so expensive. I'm at the point that my DOCTOR specifically told me to lose weight. That was a humiliating appointment. Ugh. I usually eat very healthy- it's just that I don't get enough exercise. Time to get off of my butt! Whoa! I went WAY off topic there- sorry!!!
I wanted to say sorry for making you want to stay at AKL!!! I'm totally hooked on that place. For my short solo trip in January I got a cheap rate at Wilderness Lodge- which I like a lot- but I will miss AKL. I'm addicted! :crazy2:
I'm going to finish up my TR & start a PTR for January.

Hi! April receipe is above (post #667)!!

did I mention I drank a pot of coffee--yes, the entire pot; I made it for Gwendolyn and I and she did not want any

I really liked AKL before I saw your pictures and your pictures just really gave me the ooohhh! I want to be there!!!

Connie, welcome to my world of whether or not to do a split stay -- or in my case -- three splits! :rotfl:

I've visited AKL three times and I just love it; but, as you know, I also love CSR. I think you should do a split stay! :)

I am liking the sound of a split stay more and more. But I would do CSR and probably Contemporary just because of location. I'm so not an outdoorsly type as I was raised in the country well, I'm just a city girl.

:idea:Kimmy that would be awesome!!!:cheer2: if you could plan you your trip same time we go!!!

I am so excited that we will see it for Christmas!!!:santa: if you do maybe we can plan a meet when the guys go do their driving experience! :wizard:

:wave2:

That would be so awesome! I probably won't know for sure until like April...but I'll keep you updated!! I need some Dis Meets! The people (i.e. YOU!) I talk to on here are the best!

[quote="longing2Batdisney, post: 34004094"]:confused3) haven't made them in about 13 yrs... just decided over the weekend I wanted some:upsidedow probably cause I said we were going on diets!!!!:lmao:

:rotfl: That's too funny! My work has just started a "biggest loser" contest and they made me join...and now I feel hungry even more! Haha...what is it about thinking about dieting that makes you feel like your starving? Even when its just a thought!!

You guys have got me all excited for when my little guy gets to have that 3 year old logic!! AHHHH still can't believe he's going to be 1 soon!

Good Morning, Connie & Peter Pan! Hope you are having another gorgeous day!!!! :dance3:

Kimmy: Um, from your pictures, it doesn't look like you need to lose any weight at all, dear heart! Just saying... :goodvibes

Good morning Connie. Hope your day is going well. I am working the late shift today so I can go to Andrew's soccer match on Thursday. We are getting down to the wire on these games. Thank goodness as Sheri says. Soccer is 3 nights a week.

Hope my precious Peter Pan is good today. Make sure he gets kisses and hugs please. We have sunshine and 68 today.

I have thought about te DVC points thing; we just don't know who will be going with us if anyone...around Jan when I'm ready to lock in the dates I will probably start looking into that...I'm afraid of getting taken and that's alot of money...AND if they offer free dining you can't get it w/DVC :confused3:confused3choices, choices:scared1:

Ginny

Good afternoon! Ginny & Mel,
IT IS A WONDERFUL SUNNY DAY! HERE; suppose to rain starting tomorrow night through Friday! I hope they are right we are going to the zoo with Peter Pan and Princess P Saturday!
I had thought about taking them out to play in the sun; BUT, Peter Pan had a coughing fit earlier (I think it is his allergies/but, I can't help but wonder if it is his trachael maylasia :confused3) I put him in a warm shower to calm him down while doing that I was dressing little princess: and noticed that she had the SAME
bandages from yesterday and it was starting to come off. So, I do what any mommy would do and took it off...whoa what a smell!!! I cleaned her really good Thur and Fri only to send her to her dad over the weekend!!!:rolleyes1 well, I just cleaned it (even though we are suppose to wait until her appointment Thursday--I have never heard of leaving a wound COVERED for two weeks--I worked for surgeons! and :wizard: had a 7" incision on his back:confused3) so, I'm letting it air out and I plan to clean it again before nap time...

So, here is my problem...I know they would love to be out in the sun...but, are we pushing it w/:wizard: cough and I don't want princess: finger to get any more nasty than it already is!!!

:wave2:
ya'll have a great day!!!

Poor little Peter Pan. It is probably due to allergies and outside would only make those worse for sure. Mold is so high here right now. I struggle being out too. So instead I sit in a stuffy room with dirty air ducts. Makes sense to me. That poor princess: C. I know they sometimes tell patients not to clean wounds cause they are afraid they won't do it right and cause damage so better left untouched. But I'm like you, I would have cleaned it and put on new bandages.

Try and have a good day at any rate. At least I see the sun where I sit and I might even open a window if the wind would calm down somewhat.

Ginny

we decided to come out on the patio...I will just clean her hand again when we go back in! the sun feels soooo good!!!

ya'll have a wonderful day!!!
:wave2:
wishing I had a hammock tied to the trees for us to take a nap in the fresh air...
