Pop is a great value resort my kids love the giant mickey with the phone. But this year we are staying there we are stay at the port river side this year.. But if u want a good deal pop is ur best bet..

So Connie where do you want to stay? The values are buy 5 get 2 so not as good as the others.

We'll be there from 6th-12th I believe so we'd overlap by a day or so.

I'm thinking if we go Mod of either POFQ (Danny's request) or CBR (Lisa, mickeystoontown, makes it sound like somewhere we would all love!
If we have to do value, I want to try POP this time! Yes, if we do the days I plan we will leave on the 7th. So, we would share one day!

I'm so happy that ya'll house was OK! sorry to hear about your friends homes. We have been there and done all that! Luckily not ours ever but Danny's mom's house flooded while she was in HI one year! The drains were blocked!

I knew you lived in GA and have fly in FWB! don't know why I would have said you were in AL (sorry!) we were just playing around and trying to figure where everyone is! LOL
But, that is the week we plan to hit the beach and hopefully again the weekend of Aug 13 for a surprise for Danny!

Waiting to hear how things went when you can get around to it! I can't wait to hear all about the surprises!

It's too bad the August trip can't be in September, we could definitely be there then...although I think Matt is wanting to go to Ohio the week in September.

We might manage a weekend in FWB around August 13th (which is a Friday, I guess). The kids will have started school by then, and I'm not sure we'll drive 6 hours for a weekend, but we might.

So, I put some numbers together...(cause you know I want to go!!! soooooo bad!!!!) I'll share with Danny next week on the way to MS! but here is what I have come up with so far!

if Dayne brings a friend w/ will have to go w/ POR add $295.56 for his portion w/hopper for a total of $2116.21

So, I feel I'm looking at $1900 for the Disney ressies and than food approx. $1000.

if Dayne brings a friend we may just have to do no hoppers and two rooms at the value; I will have to discuss this with Danny & Dayne. If we do two rooms we can probably get Danny his King!

I'm going to make myself nuts--trying to make this work! I'm a sad sad person....but, I'm going to go to Disney next year weather it is in Feb or Nov 2010 I know I'm going. I have decided I'm not doing a meal plan...just cost too much money; I can plan it cheaper--I don't mind doing the OOP thing! it's just a lot cheaper this way!

For the prices I would just go mod. already for an extra 175$ Once you're there you'll really be glad you did. On hotels.com you can get POR/POFQ for 100$ a night

Do you have a travel agent/triple A? If so you could probably get discounted tickets from them.

News about my trip- The november dates are pretty much set in stone. DH is going to boston october 27 so we'll leave the 21st we'll all go to NCY for a few nights and then the kids will stay at my mothers house (like 20 minutes away from NYC) while me and DH go to Boston. The kids have never been up north in the fall/winter. We'll probably have that booked by the end of next week. Then disney either november 10-16 or the 18-23. My mother lives by us in the winter and she's coming on the 10th and she wants to see Emily on her birthday and then she could have a birthday party on her birthday. If we go the 18-23 then we'll be at MK the day SM opens and we'll be sure to see more x-mas decorations. Our tickets expire november 25th. The disney trip sadly won't be booked until right around Halloween.

It looks like you have been doing your homework. Good choices. We were going to do park hoppers but at the end of the 2nd day we still hadn't bought them so we decided to just make do. It really was fine. There was lots to do at each park as you know. If I had the PH I would have gone back to MK the last night just to say goodbye.

DS3 & I are watching Mickey Mouse playhouse...we have a lot of house cleaning to do today! uuggghh! washed the now the part I hate fold andput away!

Last night I stayed up until 1 reading a thread about a little boy named Lucas who went to WDW for Labor Day with his family through the Make a Wish. It was such a touching story. I did not know that here on the dis the creative board has a "Big Give" section where they send these families gifts that they make and buy. her TR is not over and they have sooo many more stories of families with children like this! you def. need the box of tissues and it really puts life in perspective.

I don't mind laundry. It's the dishes I hate putting away. I empty the dishwasher and set them on the counter and just hope they will magically fly into the cupboards.

It's amazing when you get to 2 people how your laundry just cuts to nothing. I usually do 5 loads a week. Sometimes 6 if I decide to do some extra blankets and stuff or bath rugs.

I've seen those tr's and have not brought myself to read. I know they will be sad (how can they not be?) and I think you have to be in the right frame of mind to read. Not one to do if you are in a depressive state for sure. But as you say it will certainly put life in perspective.

Have a great day. It is so pretty here today. Our low this morning was 45 and we are supposed to get to 68. Andrew has a soccer match at 5 so I will leave work at 4:15 to get there to watch.

Wow, Ginny. It was colder there than it was here. The outside temp in my car read 52 degrees and we're supposed to get up to 75 degrees. I'm not liking that summer is gone. I don't mind fall too much, but winter really gets the thumbs down for me. I don't like being cold and I don't like the dry skin, either.

Glad the weather is looking nice for you today!!! And I read the the wish-pre trip and trip reports too. They really are special. And for my trip i'm going to learn to sew skirts and dresses so I would really like to be a part of the big give. The kids are so happy to receive their gifts in the mail. And some of the things those kids have to go through brings me to tears. It's so nice they get these magical trips!!!

I'm going to read the one about Lucas, although it sounds familiar ,I bet i've seen it.
