tried that! I wanted to go to Destin for Halloween!!! no go Gulf is toooooo cold! he's a baby...you would think if he wants to go to the beach he would suck it up....:lmao:

Yes, I changed the title...thanks for noticing.... Danny & I have been talking and IF and the is a very big IF it is a really good deal released we are going to TRY and go the first week of Feb.

I'm working it, working it...and we still need to know where to stay:rolleyes1

Have a pixiedust: day everyone!!!![/B]
:wave2:

you know I cannot help but wonder:rolleyes1 if he is just being nice to make me happy and than he is going to pop my bubble:guilty: and tell me we can't go until NOV. (not that is all bad! just soooooo far away!:sad2: ). He wanted to go to the track yesterday and I had my typical reaction:

first I was a smart*** about it: telling him to go have a wonderful time not to worry about what I'm doing...he than turns around about 1/2 hr later and says what are you doing?
Let's see (I tell him) I have TWO 3 yrs olds...not much I can do is there that is fun for ME!!!!! But you go and have a wonderful time! (I had Chloe till 10 last night and again tonight)it's times like this that I plan (if only just for a moment a Disney trip w/o him--but, that would not be any fun! )

yes I do have a selfish streak once in a while.....than the rain came (at the track in MS:upsidedow) not here...so he took us to the playground:woohoo: at least the babies were happy...

than looks at me and says what would make you happy....hmmmmm let's see how about doing something out of the house w/o my begging....and when I DO have a babysitter (mom & dad) do something OUT OF THE HOUSE!!!!
:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

So, he knows I like to plan and that I really want to go back to Disney! so I think he may be just being very very nice...turkey!:upsidedow

If my mom was like yours she wouldn't give her a card either. We should have Lisa's mom for sure. I don't hate my mom, I just don't like her. I do still love her but have little respect for her. I always say she probably did the best she could. She just didn't know any better and didn't know how to ask for help. Your mom made bad choices and you had to pay the price. She does not accept what she has done and is still blaming you for her problems. you and Mitchell DO NOT need that in your life.

My sis always has to do one better than anyone else. When we would go to dinner she was the first to pull out a $100 to pay. It always had to be her way. And her husband runs a tv/satellite shop so it was really not a big deal for her.

Almost time for the show.

Enjoy

Yes, we should have Lisa's mom! :goodvibes

I feel the same way about my mother - I love her BECAUSE she is my mother, but I don't like her very much (no matter how hard I've tried) and I have no respect. The Bible says to honor your mother and father, but that's hard to do when the mother doesn't fulfill her duties. And she really does blame me for her problems, so that's another hard pill to swallow. She tries to pretend that nothing ever happened and then wonders why I'm so upset with her? :confused3 SHe wants sympathy and attention, two things I can't give to her. My step-father tells me every birthday that she has that she pitches one heck of a tantrum and on Mother's Day, same thing. Know why? B/C she didn't get a phone call or a card from me. Then he will call me and tell me to call her "so she doesn't get her feelings hurt".

And my feelings weren't hurt all of those years growing up when I didn't get a phone call or a card or visit on my birthday. :sad2:

I admire you for trying, Ginny, I really do!

Ginny, hope your evening alone w/ the telly helps! Stay in this weekend and eat alot of protein and veggies; stay away from the carbs and desserts!! you should feel better by Sunday (I hope--you haven't been exposed to the flu...have you?!? seems everyone has it:confused3 )

Next, a flat screen tv--WOW!!! how very nice!
that was very nice of you to call your mom and your visit last weekend! don't beat yourself up over her...I wouldn't doubt that is why you fee under the weather...thinking about what ifs....
Have a Great Weekend!
Ginny & Mel!
:wave2:
PS what happened on whisperer I missed it --we went to the playground uuuuggghhh!

Thanks, Connie! I plan to have a good weekend. I hope you do, as well!

Whisperer was WONDERFUL! I hate you missed it - don't want to spoil it for you, though. Can you go online and find the episode? If not, let me know and I'll tell you all about it. Good show!

Good Morning Connie.

I feel way better today. Slept till 8 this morning and don't feel sick at all. Glad for that. Still no plans for the weekend.

Whisperer was good. You will have to watch it on the computer. I watched Grey's last nite then caught up on DWTS. So now I'm sorta caught up on all my shows.

You are so right about my mom. Years ago when she would say she was coming to my house I would get super grumpy with the girls and poor Don and then be extremely ill before she came. I wish I wouldn't allow her to get to me that way. It's like you keep trying and trying and it never changes, but she is your mom so you keep trying. I'm sure I will always give her another chance. She is 85 you know. That is what she and brother Tom tell everyone when she doesn't want to do something.

Give my little prince a hug and kiss please. I shouldn't be contagious today.
:wizard::hug::love2:

Ginny

Glad you are feeling better today, Ginny. Doctor's advice: stay off your feet and don't overdo anything! Rest is the best medicine. And DIS.

Can relate on the visit subject: I'd always get really grumpy right before my mom would come to visit, too. DH would always disappear outside when she arrived, and I'd get mad at him for leaving me alone with her in the house! :rotfl:

Yes, I changed the title...thanks for noticing.... Danny & I have been talking and IF and the is a very big IF it is a really good deal released we are going to TRY and go the first week of Feb.

BUT, I am not getting too excited, yet! He told me we probably can't make that decision until about the second week of Dec.:headache:--talk about a spur of the moment trip! would just hope I would be able to get good ADR's by than...need to start the planning just in case...and if it doesn't happen for Feb. we can just carry the plans over for Nov.
the only way to get to WDW is to catch up on all the financial matters that have poped up and in the way of happy peaceful life. For the first time in our 23 years together he is the voice of reason; when it comes to money...he keeps telling me the last week of Nov would be better cause we will be able to afford it better!!!!!

THAN HE TELLS ME
WHOA! I SAID WE HAD TO GO TO THE :beach: BEFORE we can return to WDW!!!!:rotfl2::thumbsup2

I'm working it, working it...and we still need to know where to stay:rolleyes1

Have a pixiedust: day everyone!!!!
:wave2:

Oh, Connie! Wouldn't that be WONDERFUL if you could go in February so you wouldn't have to wait a whole year? :yay:

I hear it's not so crowded that time of year and the weather probably won't be too cold in FL. I really, really, really hope it works out for you! :cloud9:

You can go to the beach this November, maybe. It was nice when we went last year around that time. Not really bathing suit weather, but still a very nice day or two on the beach.

Sorry I've been away. I bet my Mama would take all of ya'll in if you wanted her to. She's one of those kind of mothers who doesn't butt in your business unless you ask her to. And, she always seems to know when you need a shoulder to lean on.

Lacey is always telling her that she and Hunter are their Mamaw's favorite. :lmao: They probably really are but Mama won't let any of her other grandkids know it.

Connie, I sure hope that all of the rumors are true and a discount is offered in February so you can go.

All of us girls would take your mama. She knows her boundries and limits. Good job on raising children too by the way.

I understand that favorites part. I would never show it to any of the kids. You must keep them guessing. I tell them they have to work for favorite status. You can't have a fav with 4. They are too close.

Ginny! good laugh time...looking over the main page to see what may strike my fancy to read......
and ummmm I see the new title of my PTR and say to myself hmmmm that sounds interesting and Ginny just visited?!? might need to check out.........
and realize it is my own PTR just as I click on it,

We will have to pin Lisa down and work on this for sure.

You guys totally crack me up! Thanks for the laughs this morning.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Connie: Did you enjoy Disney night last night? I ended up with the whole house to myself and turned the tellie onto Lifetime Movie Network! Got a whole movie in w/out interruption. So nice. :cloud9:

Mel, we actually went run to the grocery store about an hour before it started. When we walked in two hours later Gwendolyn & Joe were playing the Wii; DS3 and Chloe rather play with them....which was fine cause Danny did not want fried fish :sad:he wanted turkey burgers so I had to cook those when we came in :confused3....in the midst of all that I needed to give the tots a bath (DS3 was falling asleep as he played:lmao:--wish he would nap). So, interesting living in a house with three other adults and somehow I end up cooking a baby tending at the same time (talk about mutli tasking). They did get to watch "Happy Feet":yay:

But, it is coming on again today! and Its not like we don't have both movies on DVD! :rotfl:

Have a great Sunday! I wanted to get up and go to mass this morning but did not get up... I don't know if Ashton is ready for that or not yet! but, I'll never find out if I don't get started again :sad2:

Good morning Connie. Hope you got some rest. I think it was needed. :) Give my prince a morning hug and kiss please. Have a great day. So far it is gorgeous here. It was yesterday too. Nice fall weather,

Good morning! Ginny...I did sleep soundly when I finally went to bed
:sunny: gorgeous day here; but, Danny said he is waiting for Dayne's friends dad to call to work on his fuel system (Dayne's car--the keep adjusting the carb, but, finally noticed that the new filter is not wet w/fuel so they dropped the tank yesterday and I'm not sure what they are doing today --the car set for sooooo long that even though they cleaned everything**except the bottom of the tank**it is still getting rancid uucckk from somewhere :confused3--I do not pretend to understand!). than the Saints are coming on at 3:00 I was just told--so, I don't think he has any palns for DS3 & I...

So, I'm not sure what we are going to do?!? nothing at the moment....I'll move in a little bit:lmao:

I am so sitting in my pj's doing nothing. I'm in my chair on my laptop and Don is next to me in his chair on the laptop. At least we are together. :rotfl2:

All that medicine they have him on is making him ill. I feel so sorry for him. He cooked a great meal last night and had to quit eating in the middle of it. It didn't stop the rest of us from eating. The only problem is we ate too much and couldn't eat dessert. That is sad when you are too full for dessert. I will plan better today. Or maybe we'll eat dessert first then dinner. :rotfl: I love that plan.

I know Ashton still sleeps with you guys and I don't blame you one bit. When Sheri was little and Don worked nights she slept with me every night. Yes even 9 months pg with Austin still sleeping with her mama. When we have girls weekend out, we still try to sleep together. I'm just a cuddle bunny what can I say. :lmao:

Austin would sleep with me when he was little but he is such a hot potato you can't stand to lay by him anymore. I think he was about 12 when he started sleeping by himself when he would visit. I would lay with him till he fell asleep tho. Then burn up and leave.

I so wish they could get Dayne's car going. It would be so helpful to you to not have to give yours up all the time.

We picked out Austin's pix last night. Our order was $777.00 plus tax. :scared1: I told Sheri I would give her some money on it since so many were for our family. They are so darn expensive. It was really hard to choose. I got 6 5x7 for a collage frame and an 11x14 for my self. I have no idea where I will put them. I know I will find the perfect spot.

Have a great day. Hope you don't have to do a lot. It is a good rest day.

Ginny

I did not have a thing to do, today. We went ride to check out a job site Danny has coming up in the area. Which will be nice for him....

Happy ya'll picked out Austin's pics, I don't look forward to Dayne's! Gwendolyn was a Sr sales rep for hers it cost me a whole $150 for everything....she had a portfolio she used to aid in her sales. :yay:

Ashton came home a took a very very late nap...so we will both be up late tonight :upsidedow

Mom called to say there was a very big "huge" sale at Belk. So, she bought Dayne and Danny shorts (plaid, khaki, and yes denim) for $4, for Christmas! :yay:

as for Dayne's car  high performace cars cost money (that we don't have at the moment) and not knowing what the guy has in it, makes it soooo hard...so the end of the month Danny and Dayne will be able to start rebuilding...hoping that it will be running after tomorrow...they are having a fuel (feed) problem so they are buying a regulator and probably an electric fuel pump tomorrow :confused3
just repeating what I was told! :lmao: have not a clue what I'm talking about:rotfl:

Have a great evening! :wave2:

We had a good day here. Don and I went to Sam's to buy 25 pounds of rice. He had me make him and Aust some of those bags that you heat in the micro for your back. I made two neck ones, two 10x10 ones and a 15x15 one. Austin's back still hurts from that first fb game when he landed on his back. He won't complain cause he wants to keep playing. There are 5 weeks left so he said he would see the Dr. then. I guess it's like 8th grade when he broke that scaphoid bone in his thumb and didn't say anything for over a year. Heaven forbid one would miss a game. 8 months in a cast didn't slow him down too bad. He learned real quick how to play video games left handed.

I made beef stew and cornbread for dinner. The kids came over and we watched some challenge show on Food Network. We love those shows. Then Aust had to get home to do his pillage and plunder on warcraft. He won $350 on his fantasy baseball league. He thinks he might buy a new 32 inch flat screen for his bedroom. And of course wire his computer to it so warcraft will be really big. He is a mess. He bought him a regular 32 in 3 years ago. But of course the computer won't plug into it and it is not a flat screen.

Gotta love that kid.

Did you watch the video I posted on my TR of the football game? He made a really good tackle they caught. Then they didn't say his name just #52 when the punt return bonked him on the head. He said he couldn't believe he didn't see it coming. It is also on facebook. Not everyday the kids make the news.

Have a wonderful day tomorrow. I know I will be busy. Monday for sure.

Ginny

Oh! Ginny,
I am such a bad friend  I started to watch it yesterday! My computer was so slow loading it and I was called away. When I came back Danny was on the computer and I forgot about it. I will check it out, I promise!

You are so not a bad friend. It does seem like it loads slow and buffers a lot. So after his 10 seconds of glory are done I just slide the bar to the beginning and it doesn't stutter so bad.

I might try to get some pix up. Don took a bunch Friday for me since I failed to show. I know you have been to Branson and Their new football field is down the bottom of one of those hills. You have to park at the top walk down and then back up. When Aust came out he looked for me and assumed I sat on the home side of the field. At the end Sheri told him I was home ill. He called me on his way home. They ended up having to park 1 1/2 miles away and bussed over. After the game there were no busses to take them back. Sorry I missed that one.

No, Ginny -- Danny & I have not been to Branson...mom & dad has been a number of times even brought Gwendolyn & Dayne! always said we would go just was never on the "top" of our list. We have been to Houston, CO, TN, NY, LV, DC, FL(of course) can't think where else we've been? :confused3

I guess I thought you had cause I remember you saying your mom and dad had been. Well, you should just come up. Expensive tourist trap for sure. I go to the landing shopping market and the coach outlet. That's it. We do have a Belk there and they have really good deals.

It's much cheaper to stay at my house. When the girls were young we had a pontoon and we could leave our drive and be in the water in 45 minutes. It was super nice. We even had it till Aust was about 9. The year he started school he and Don camped out all weekend at the lake. Slept on the boat and everything. What fun they had.

That sounds like alot of fun! Mom and Dad went there for Katrinia...so I almost made it there :rotfl: Danny's mom showed up just as we were about to hit the road  she almost missed us! that would have been bad :sad2: we will make it one day and you and Don will have to meet us there! I know we would love the area!

We had a lot of people come up here from Katrina. Branson opened hotels and apartments for them for at least 6 months free. We did here is Springfield to. But most of the settled in Branson. The guy that owns Prime Trucking owns a casino in Biloxi and it got destroyed. He has at the trucking comany apartments, a gym, beauty shop, daycare and the works. He moved most of them up here to his company. It would be much more fun to come this way with no storms in sight.

We really are going to have to make a plan for sure. I may have to come with or without Don. I bet he would like to come too tho.

I better get to bed now. 6 wil be here early and I won't want to get up.

Ginny
