Agree...I giggle sometimes when I read people complaining about how hot the DL Half was last year. My sense of hot and humid is definitely skewed, though... lived in Hawaii and then moved to AZ!
On the plus side...it's also cooling down here... only 106!
Humidity is relative. Anaheim can be more humid than Utah so it always feels hotter when it's hot or cooler when it's cool to me there when it's the same temperature as here.
Now Anaheim compared to Florida? Not humid at all.
I give a pass to marathoners because that's a really grueling thing to be doing at any temperature. Even world class runners don't like it to be above 60 degrees, and temperatures in the 80s can be downright hazardous to one's health.
2 year ago in Oct it was 101 and it was HOT. From Montana so not used to the heat. Going the end of the month and hope for 80s, would be giddy if lower

I don't know how hot it was at Disneyland today but it was about 96/97 degrees at Six Flags Magic Mountain today when I left at 12:30, got my last ride on Colossus before it closes. And when I got home an hour later it was 81 degrees by the beach so I am going to guess it was at least in the high 80s/low 90s at Disney if not hotter.
We were there last week and felt like we were melting. I touched my son's head (he's 9) at one point and it was just wet from sweating. We live in Oklahoma, so it's not exactly cold here. I think in addition to the humidity there was no cloud coverage at all, so the sun is just beating down on you as you stand in it.
