We are picky eaters!

I am also in agreement with some of the posters in this thread. If you really don't enjoy food, why would you really want to spend the time and money going to a signature restaurant? You can always enjoy the ambiance of the resorts by just walking around or sitting in the lobby. If you don't go to restaurants like these when you are home and it doesn't seem you want to expand your culinary horizon than I would stick with CS or maybe a buffet.

Now, now. Let's not lecture the OP about whether she's being adventurous enough. She's just looking for advice about whether some of these restaurants will fit her tastes. She has a right not to like more exotic food if she doesn't want to!

For myself, I'm not a hugely picky eater, but tend to have "plainer" tastes in food. I looked at the Cali Grill menu and worried that everything sounded a little too exotic for my taste, but found I loved the filet and soup du jour there! I bet you could find something at just about any restaurant that you'd like. Just ask your server for assistance in figuring out menu items you're unsure of.

We are not adventurous eaters either. We are really meat and potatoes people. That being said we loved the Turf Club, ESPN Club, WCC, LTT, GG, Contemporary Steakhouse, CM, Crystal Palace, 50s Prime Time. I'm sure there are others too. Next trip we are looking at trying Mara as a counter service option since the other 2 restaurants at AKL are a bit too adventurous to us. We also see some options at the coral reef that sound good. Someday we may try Le Cellier, but probably not with out kids.
