Can't believe we are actually on the road to the Fort.
We are heading south on 69 about 70 miles north of
Indianapolis. We've been on the road for 3 hours. Kids
are doing great so far.
Update more as we go!

The only thing bad about going to the Fort is the drive...too much anticipation for me. I need a full rig teleporter.

We have been in the car for about 8 1/2 hours. So far so
good, we are 50 miles from Bowling Green. Yea, teleporting
would be awsome! We had a nice break for a picnic lunch
just south of Louisville, and my 6 yr old found a 4 leaf
clover. We plan to stop in Chattanooga for the night, have
a nice dinner swim at the hotel etc...

Arrived tues night around 6:30..we had
planned to stop in lake city for the night
and come intothe fort around noon
Wellllll. We couldn't standit and had to get
here. The Fort is beautiful and we arr
loving allthe music we can hear from our
site. We got the one site I did not want
to get in fhe 1500 loop. 1520.....but we
are making it home. Stop by and say hi if
you are here . Sorry for all the typos, it's
all my I phones fault.

Out of curiosity... how long did it take you to drive down in total? We will be having a similar drive in March. But we are right off of I-75 so we will be taking that.

Out of curiosity... how long did it take you to drive down in total? We will be having a similar drive in March. But we are right off of I-75 so we will be taking that.

We didn't hook on to 75 until Chattanooga.
We had stayed the night in a Country inn and
suites.... They have a great breakfast!
we left there at 8:30, got through Atlanta
around 10:30...65 the whole way around.
We made very few stops that day and
pulled into the fort around 6:30 that night.
It was our first long drive with the four
and they did remarkably well.
We were on thr road 20-22 hours including
our stops.
