We are looking for a 3b/3b Condo @ Windsor Hills...

We have not stayed yet (I can report next month) but if you would like to check it out, the one we are renting 2/15/08-2/19/08 is here:

I spent a lot of time and researched probably 25 condos and townhouses. This is a townhouse, but it was cheaper than most of the condos I looked into. We got a 3 bedroom, not because we need it (we don't) but because it was cheaper than the 2 bedrooms. This depends on what's available at the time you are going. That's just how it worked out for us. I looked at pictures and prices, and then narrowed it down. There were some owners that weren't very pleasant. They got tossed out. This owner (Patty) has had very good communication with me. She set me quite a few extra pics of her place. I have always dealt directly with her, although when we go, we will pick up our keys from the management company. I also verified her as the owner through a link provided on this board. Hope that helps to let you know how we decided.

we stayed there to:woohoo: . we loved it. We are staying again next time:cloud9: .. Our pool was pipeing hot. Next time no pool heat.:thumbsup2

Thanks to those that reported staying here, that makes me so excited!! About the pool heat.... what time of year did you go? We are going next week and I am thinking we will need it. Plus Patty gave me a good deal on the heat. :thumbsup2

We were there Thanksgive week. The pool was so hot ! I could not go under the water because it would burn my face.:scared1: It was like a HOT TUB...Dh loved it:confused:

We really loved it:hug: My DH will never stay anywhere else!!! I cant wait to go back!!!!!

We have made our decision and have a reservation! We will be staying at a 3Bed/2Bath condo. Here is the link http://www.vacationcentralflorida.com/3bedroom204.html.

I've read some positive feedback about the owners. My experience has been very positive so far. They are very quick to respond to questions. Our rental isn't until March 2009. Feels good to have our accomodations reserved. I think we will love Windsor Hills!

We are staying there june 21-july5. I agree that Patty is great. Our neighbours stayed there easter 2006 and loved it:thumbsup2

My family & I just got back from our trip last week and we had a great time. We stayed in a 3BR/2BA condo at Windsor Hills...rented through Allstar Vacation Homes. It came out to be about $150.00 per night, which divided among 5 people isn't bad at all considering that only one family would fit in a room for that price at a Disney Moderate resort. Also, when you are making your reservation, if you tell them you found them through Allears or Passporters, you'll get a $125 off your stay if you are staying 7 nights or longer.

I have to say that with just a couple exceptions, this condo was excellent and well worth the price.

We had 5 adults in our party (my DH & I, my grandparents & my sister). We were in unit 405 (2785 Almaton Loop). This condo was a perfect size for my family. Each couple had their own room with king sized bed and each master bedroom had a bathroom right off the bedroom. Our bedroom shared with the hall bedroom, but there were 2 doors going into the bathroom, so you could have complete privacy.

Below are pictures we took of the condo. As you can see, it's very pretty & roomy.

The outside of our building. We were on the top floor, in the unit to the right.

The living room. The door in the upper left went out to the screened in balcony.

2nd Master Bedroom. Had a large walk-in closet and bathroom was right off the room.

Dining room. This was right off the living room and foyer. The condo had a very open floorplan.

Hall bedroom - had 2 twin beds, closet, tv & dvd/vcr combo.

2nd Bedroom/Hall bathroom. This bathroom was big...almost as big as the hall bedroom.

Kitchen...it was fully furnished with plenty of dishes and cookwear.

The only bad parts about this condo were the fact that the water had a bit of a sulphur smell/taste and that the toilet pressure was fairly poor. Other than that, I have no complaints!

We have been to WDW twice. The first time we stayed at the Sheraton Vistana, and the second time we rented directly from an owner at WH. We rented a 3 bedroom/3 bath townhouse, and it was great. She was very nice, easy to work with, and answered all of my questions promptly. I have too few posts to post a link, but her site is disneyoasis with a www in front and a com on the end. We are going again in December, and I would use her, but we needed a bigger home.

I just booked Villa del Sol or Jewel of the Sun for Thanksgiving week. The owner is super nice and super reasonable as far as price. I like dealing directly with the owners rather than a management company, that's just me.:)

We are renting unit 205. I think it might be in that same building. How far were you from the pool and clubhouse?

Question: I've rented private homes and dealt with the owners. When renting from WH, are you dealing with management or owners? If it's owners and there is a problem, will WH take any action at all?

I think the townhouse posted by two*little*birds can be found at storytimeorlandorental.com

I've stayed at this townhouse twice. It's a great place.

I just booked this townhouse for Oct! I have some questions if you dont mind:

How far is it to the big pool?
What kind of movies do they show?
Food store nearby?
Is there laundry detergent & dish soap or do I bring it?

THANK YOU!

The big pool is very close. You just have to cross the street you're on and the main road and you are there.

We didn't go to the movies so I can't say anything about that.

They have a small store near the pool club house for convenience foods and souvenirs. We did our main shopping at the Orange Lakes Publix. That is located on 192 west about a couple miles.

There was a small supply of dish detergent left for our use but no laundry detergent. It is a front loading clothes washer so you don't need too much detergent anyway if you are packing some.
