I'm going to echo the PP. Without substantial cost, they could have a daytime show in the F! theatre -- based on those movies from the 40s/50s with dancers, swimmers, etc. Way over the top productions, but definitely an important era in Hollywood -- one that will never come back, thank goodness, but I would definitely enjoy watching the show.

And one more idea -- The Red Carpet Dress Shop -- Disney already has a line of wedding dresses, etc. What better place to buy a prom or evening gown?

That's a pretty darn cool idea! And what if they had replicas of famous Hollywood gowns that you can only buy at that store? Audrey Hepburn's dress in Breakfast at Tiffany's, Anne Hathaway's dress at the end of Princess Diaries, stuff like that?

I would love to see more experiences at Hollywood Studios that are immersive - i.e. where you can immerse yourself in another time period, like the Silent film era, or the Golden Age of the Hollywood musical. I'd love to see a whole backlot area with people in costume; shops and restaurants that continue the theme, and rides too. Sort of like walking into a film set such as "The Sting" or "Silverado". Maybe a Roaring 20's area and a Wild West area?

Yes! I would love that. A "Frontierland" where you had cowboys and others (uh... Miss Kitty, maybe...) walking around and acting like they were in the show. Where the cast-member cashier is acting like Mrs. Olsen from "Little House on the Prairie." Ok, we don't have to use those examples, but that's an idea of what I'm looking for. In Massachusetts, they have "Old Sturbridge Village." When I went there as a kid, everyone was in character. If you mentioned TV, they would say, "Prithee... what is this TV?"

That's what I want Disney to do... Let us: walk into a western... walk into ancient Greece... walk into the roaring 20's.

Let's just not use robots, though, please. I've seen "Westworld" and only trouble lies in that direction (and if you haven't seen it and love WDW, rent it and laugh).

We loved the KP Adventure at Epcot. How about a similar attraction that would run throughout HS. I would suggest maybe 2 types of adventure: Easy and Hard (similar to how there are 2 types of ride for Mission Space) The easy one could be completed within a half hour by most families and would all be within 1 park area. The harder one would take substantially more brain power and time and require you to travel throughout the park.

Just thinking that with the popularity of these movies as well as books like The Da Vinci Code, there would be a lot of people who would want to do at least one of these.

Hunh. I haven't done KP yet (we'll be doing it when we go down next, though), but this does sound like a cool idea. Not much has really been done with National Treasure, and as long as it's not too conspicuous an attraction, I think it would be rather fun.

One of the things we liked most of the KP Adventure is that you wouldn't notice any of the clues unless you were actually doing the adventure (except for the KP kiosks, of course, but they tended to be tucked away in unused corners) I would hope that they would do a National Treasure adventure similarly ie. you don't know you're seeing a clue on a wall, etc, just looks like part of the theming.

I think attractions like this add another "layer" to the theme parks -- they make the same old attractions, venues, stores, etc. more interesting, plus don't take up space like adding a new ride.

It sounds like a good idea. But what kind of stuff around the Studios would you use as clues? I would understand, say, moving through the history of movies for clues, but the park doesn't stick with that theme well enough to go with that idea.

Well...I like the way the KP Adventure is done -- things that seem like they're just part of the theming actually are clues. So, hidden symbols in building signs, hidden compartments in stones, etc. I'd probably put a lot of it in Streets of America -- there's nothing much to do there.

Or maybe have the movie premiers done there. Have a red carpet as you enter and have a theatre set-up somewhere in the park followed by a premier party.

This sounds like a wicked idea! The party would be really cool; maybe they could either revive some of the older characters from not-so-popular movies, or introduce new characterst that aren't necessarily Disney, but well-recognizable, to walk throughout the park during the party.

However it would work out, I would definitely attend.

Just wanted to add that rides with moving vehicles are always popular as it makes you feel as if you are entering another world/experience.

A couple of shows and stationery attractions are nice but the rest should really inlcude motion.

I guess to make my point more clearer, the Indiana Jones Stunt show is not as popular as the ride in CA...there's just this extra magic with the ride...I've only seen the stunt show once, but if the ride was in FL, it would be a must do on every trip!

We want to be taken for ride!!

You do have a point. There haven't been very many ideas for moving attractions. Any suggestions?
