We are home (again!)

We got home yesterday morning after another fantastic holiday! Just thought I would do a quick highs and lows again:

Lows:

TS Debby - didn't stop us but did slow is down and changed our plans - 10 inches of rain in 3 days does that!

Highs:

Flight crew on VA on both flights were good - very friendly and service was excellent
Dinner at D'Antinios in Celebration was outstanding (again - very consistent and popular with locals)
Weather either side of Debby was wonderful with low humidity
Taking Chloe for her first manicure at the Saratoga Springs Spa - she loved it as was so good
Those 'Disney' moments I thought had started to disappear were in abundance this time - Mickey came and collected Chloe from the 'Holding' room in Town Square Theater and took her to the meeting room by holding her hand was something I won't forget for a while. We has several others too

Surprises:
The breakfast at CRT was way beyond what I expected on terms of food - it was actually really good and nearly justified the price I paid. I also set up the special princess package and she was treated amazingly. It's too pricey for an every trip kind of meal but will return- before eating there I was sure it was going to be an one and only thing!
Chloe (now just 4) decided she didn't need a nap in the afternoon and was outstanding - she was going till midnight a couple of nights without whining
Rapunzel moved in to Town Hall with the princesses instead of Sleeping Beauty just before we left meaning we could use FP to see her one last time

I have to say, I love your approach to life! Everyone has been a bit bummed (and I can understand that) about all the rain. Then you come home and post a list of highs and surprises instead of highs and lows. Love your spirit!

The princess package is actually called the 'Your Royal Highness' package and as standard costs $90 plus tax & gratuity however we removed the cake and replaced with the slipper dessert for a total of $42.50 plus tax & gratuity (less our TIW discount )

When we arrived there was a balloon waiting on the table with a placemat plus pixie dust. Then shortly after our server brought out her tiara on a blue velvet cushion to present to her. The slipper came out after we had eaten and everyone nearby sung happy birthday

I organised it all via email and still have the PDF if you want me to email it to you?

Next back in December for a pre-Xmas trip - managed to get 8 nights after Chloe finishes school but before Xmas day.

We are doing CRT for lunch on DD's 4th birthday (christmas eve) and I am planning on booking the her royal highness package. Did you see any of the cakes ( I know you didn't have one), but just wondered if you saw one, what you thought. Thanks. Also is it right that they won't store the balloon etc after your meal?

I didn't see the cake and no one else had the balloon. They won't store anything which is why I chose the slipper not the cake.
