We are here too! Updated TR!

We all love frozen butter beer, no idea what the other is like.

We got up early again this morning, goodness knows where we are getting the energy from!

DD wanted to go to Harry Potter and do the wand thing again, because she desperately wanted to be chosen. As I explained there are no certainties, but we went anyway. The queue was already quite long when we got there and a CM said it would be 30 mins. However, it ended up being more like 10. I was chatting to one of them and explained that dd was hoping to be chosen and he said they usually pick children who are or look over 10 years or more, so it was unlikely she would be picked, at least we had a chance to let her know this.

As it was, two girls (sisters) were picked and both had wands selected for them and yet again, the parents ended up buying them! I wonder if the guy who does it, is on commission?!!! I do still think it a bit naughty of IoA, as they put the wands in a box and hand it to the child, saying follow the assistant, we were chatting to them afterwards and they didn't even get a discount!

From here we rode Forgidden Journey again!!! OH I think was getting a bit sick of it, dd then did the Hippogriff on her own again ;) As we hadn't had breakfast, we ummed and ahhhd about the three broomsticks again, but ended up walking on to Toontown, however, it was all pizza and burgers type of stuff, but I found a fish burger, dd had cheeseburger and OH had a chinese!!! Well, when in the US!!!!! :rotfl:

We wandered through to Spiderman and did that again for dd, who really enjoyed it and then decided to go out and about in the car, as we all felt a bit theme parked out.

This is how we ended up in Walmart, thank goodness for Sat Nav., I just put Walmart in and it took us to the nearest one, which was only a couple of miles. I bought about 7 pairs of jeans for dd at $6.99 a pair, I can't even get them for that in £ in the UK, I got two pairs of Levis for me at $20. I also buy Knickers for dd in the US, they are a much better fit and much thicker than the ones in the UK, she tells me they are so comfy and at 10 in a pack for $8 we got several packs. OH then got more jeans, making his total of trousers and jeans 16!!!

We then took a drive down International Drive, which we have never been down before and stopped at some of the cheap shops for Disney T shirts for presents and a Toys R Us outlet, before calling into McD's for icecream and cokes, before going back to the hotel.

We sorted out cases, as we have to check out by 11am in the morning and I knew I would be worrying about it all night, not sure what we are going to do tomorrow, our Disney passes are still valid and we want to drop our bags off at DTD, so we could go anywhere!! DD wants to play on the games in Disney Quest again - I think she could be becoming addicted. They have them in the hotel, but I won't let her have anymore than $5 to play, which is basically two games, so the thought of being able to play whatever, whenever is very appealing!

Dinner tonight was in the hotel, a restaurant called Jake's, it was very pleasant, I had a seafood pasta, OH had rumps steak and dd had the filet steak with a few (miniscule Veggies.), we notice that the Americans are not into green stuff!! It is interesting that they always give us a kids menu, on which is Mac. Cheese, Burgers and Popcorn chicken or fried chicken, this seems to be the same at any restaurant. DD will eat a burger at a push and seems to have rediscovered cheeseburgers on this trip, but personally it isn't a good choice for kids so far.

After dinner we wandered through the hotel, had a drink in the bar and went to bed.

Today felt a bit disjointed, but it was good to get out and about into the 'real' world for a bit and good for dd to see the different supermarkets and shops.

We are all feeling a little sad that tomorrow we go home, OH and I were discussing what we would do differently and I think we would probably stay at Disney and travel up to Universal, buying Express passes if the crowds were bad. Otherwise, we have been quite happy with our choices so far.

What kind of clothes have you been wearing? I'm assuming its too cold for shorts right now??

We were out early this morning for the New Fantasyland preview, in MK parking lot at 7am, could have done with a fleece for about 2 hours til 9am, after that very warm today. This is our 3rd day and needed a fleece in restaurants only. Its funny seeing the locals in big coats early morning but we managed with shorts & Tshirts.

I was wearing light cotton capris, but in the morning is was pretty chilly and a nip in the air, so really needed something more substantial, however, by mid morning 11ish, it would start to warm up. I didn't have a fleece, dd did, I did have a cotton sweater. It got really chilly again around 5ish.

However, having said this, it was only our last few days that were colder, up until Saturday, we were wearing T shirts and dd had shorts on (I tend not to wear shorts nowadays! ;) ). We didn't need anything other than T shirts in the evening either.

The weather forecast said it was going to get warmer again, once the cold front following the hurricane had passed.
