We Are Here To Change The World.......Maybe Not - Completed

Sorry you didn't love the Tonga Toast... we have always had a good batch. I think the Poly is my favorite resort. :goodvibes

EO stands for New Dawn? :confused3

We liked Tony's when we ate there..... i guess we didn't love it since we haven't been back since. :lmao:

I don't think I could do Florida in the summer. 105 degrees????? Forget that!

So sorry your trip is coming to an end. :sad1:

What a score getting tickets to Simple Plan!!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Yep, it stands for New Dawn.

Summer's really hot, but I have not choice, being a teacher and all. My students can go to Mexico for 3 weeks in October if they want to (yep, happened) but I get penalized by my bosses if I do.

I can't wait to see Simple Plan. Maybe I will finally meet them after all these years of being a fan :)

If Florida got to 105 in the summer that would be highly unusual! We got to 105 in Northern Virginia last summer! That also was NOT normal. I think low 90's for July and August is normal. Its just the humidity that knocks you over!! When its hot and humid in Florida in the summer it is also hot and humid in Northern Virginia in July and August. If I'm gonna be hot and humid, I'd rather be hot and humid in Disney World. Now... if I was in Canada... hot & humid would not be a given right? So... then maybe I'd be wary. But really!! Any time you're at Disney is better than being anywhere else.

I was in WDW October '09 and we had temps in the mid to upper 90's. Man that was hot. I guess there isn't much of a difference if it is 97 or 105 though. :rotfl2:

You are right.... it is better being in Disney than anywhere else. ::yes:: :goodvibes

Wow... that is abnormal for October. But you are right. As my mom used to say Hot is Hot... once its past a certain temp. it doesn't really matter... you're schvitzin'! Looks like I'm heading to upper 70's. Our first couple days are in the long view forecast.:woohoo:

In 2012, we'll be driving down. We'll be using our GPS. But I was also thinking about buying a road Atlas to schedule stops. Then I thought I might be able to find that online.

Any good sites?

Thanks. I'm really excited.

Did you go to AKL or AKV?

We've done both - Jambo House in the hotel, and Kidani in the Villas. Both are beautiful!

How does EO stand for New Dawn? Is E and O representing another language? I'm totally confused.

I'm with ya on that Kona coffee. It's ridiculous. So stinkin' good!!

I like how you just chilled and relaxed on your last day - I could NEVER do that. :rotfl: Must run around and catch everything I have missed!!!! :rolleyes1

You should be able to find something from AAA or CAA.:car:

EO is Greek or something

I have never seen Captain EO. It was in the parks originally during the decade that I missed. Between 1990 and 2000. I'm NOT a Michael Jackson fan at ALL! But my DD8 might like it. What is it like?

It's awesome! lol
ok I'm an MJ fan.
Captain EO goes to a planet to give a gift to the monster queen. And that gift is given in music and dance. Watch it on youtube if you're not sure. But I loved the effects.

I can't wait to see Captain EO! I've never seen it before and am really looking forward to it...soon!

Will you be traveling I-95 for most of the way? Or do you take another route?
I found this on the transportation board here on the Dis and I've bookmarked it for our drive!

Hey guys!! I'm back from the Simple Plan Foundation benefit! It was so much fun! Got to meet each guy, and even a tv host from here. My painting got at least 100$(don't know the final amount of the silent auction), got to hear tracks they just recorded for their new album (so exclusive security was making sure no one was taping anything since they are not mastered tracks, just rough tracks) and got an accoustic concert. Here are pics :)

That's Chuck Comeau, the drummer and my fave hehe. His dad is the one who gave me the ticket.

That's Pierre Bouvier, the main singer.

David Desrosiers, bassist and guitarist.

Jeff Stinco, bassist and guitarist

Sebastien Lefebvre, bassist and guitarist

Platinum disc that went for auction. I think it raised around 1500$

Bass from Gene Simmons. Yep, THE Gene Simmons. Raised 200$ I think.

Awesome!!! Sounds like you had a really fun night!! So glad to see you happy!!

ok I'm confused now. What's the ADR date? I mean is it 90 days? Is it 180? I seem to draw a blank now.
